若有一個不信的人請你們，而你們也願意去，凡擺在你們面前的、你們只管喫；為着良知的緣故、不要問甚麼。

If an unbeliever invites you to a meal and you want to go, eat whatever is put before you without raising questions of conscience.

凡肉市上所賣的、你們只管喫；為着良知的緣故、不要問甚麼；

你們要住在那一家，喫喝他們所供給的；因為工人得酬報是應當的。不要從這家搬到那家。你們無論進哪一城，人若接待你們，擺上甚麼，你們就喫甚麼；

我先前在信上給你們寫過，叫你們不可和嫖妓或作男倡的交往，並不是泛指着這世界上所有嫖妓或作男倡的、或貪婪的和勒索人的、或拜偶像的。要那樣，你們就該離開世界才能！其實我寫給你們的是：若有人名為弟兄，實在是嫖妓或作男倡的、或貪婪的、或拜偶像的、或辱罵人的、或醉酒的、或勒索人的，你們就不可和他交往。就是和這樣的人一同喫飯也不可，

所以我們既曉得主是可畏懼的，便勸人相信。我們在上帝面前顯然無隱；我盼望在你們的良知裏也顯然無隱。

把那隻肥牛犢牽來宰；我們喫喝快樂吧！

利未在自己家裏為耶穌辦了盛大的迎賓席；當時有一大羣的收稅人、和跟他們一同坐席的其他人們。法利賽人和他們的經學士就唧唧咕咕向耶穌的門徒議論說：『你們為甚麼跟收稅人和「罪人」一同喫喝呢？』

卻拒絕了可恥的隱密事，不行於狡猾，也不混淆上帝之道，只將真理顯揚出來，在上帝面前、把自己推薦與各人的良知。

眾人看見，都唧唧咕咕地彼此議論說，『「罪人」家裏、他還進去投宿呢！』

我們寫給你們的、無非是你們所誦讀所明白的。
