兄弟乎、我欲爾知、昔我列祖皆在雲下、徑行海中、

且吾不欲兄弟之昧於史訓也。昔吾列祖、悉皆托庇祥雲、行經滄海；

For I do not want you to be ignorant of the fact, brothers and sisters, that our ancestors were all under the cloud and that they all passed through the sea.

Brothers and sisters, I want you to know something about our people who lived long ago. They were all led by the cloud. They all walked through the Red Sea.

For I do not want you to be unaware, brothers, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea,

I don’t want you to forget, dear brothers and sisters, about our ancestors in the wilderness long ago. All of them were guided by a cloud that moved ahead of them, and all of them walked through the sea on dry ground.

Now I do not want you to be unaware, brothers and sisters, that our ancestors were all under the cloud, all passed through the sea,

他鋪開雲彩作遮蓋，用火來照亮黑夜。

他將海分開，使他們過去，使眾水立起如壘。他白天用雲彩、整夜用火光引導他們。

我們的祖先在埃及時，不明白你的奇妙作為，不記念你豐盛的慈愛，反倒在紅海邊悖逆。但他為自己名的緣故拯救他們，為要彰顯他的大能。他斥責紅海，海就乾涸了；他帶他們走過深淵，如同走過旱地。他拯救他們脫離仇恨者的手，從仇敵的手中救贖了他們。水淹沒了他們的敵人，連一個也沒有留下。

但如果有人不承認，他也不會被承認。

因著信，他們走過了紅海，像走過乾地那樣；埃及人試著這樣做，就被吞滅了。

他曾把海變成乾地，眾人曾步行過河——在那裡，讓我們因他而歡喜！

他引導他們安然行進，使他們不懼怕；海水卻淹沒了他們的仇敵。

弟兄們，我不願意你們不明白有關屬靈的事。

耶和華必一直引導你，在乾旱之地使你身心滿足，又使你的骨頭強壯；你必像灌溉充足的園子，又像水流不絕的泉源。從你而出的人中，必有人重建古時的廢墟之處；你必重立世世代代的根基；你必被稱為『破口的修補者』、『住人街道的修復者』。「如果你在安息日克制自己的腳步，在我的聖日不行自己所喜悅的事；如果你稱安息日為可喜樂的，稱耶和華的聖日為可尊重的；如果你尊重這日，不行自己的路，不求自己所喜悅的事，不按自己的意思說話；

神哪，眾水看見你，眾水看見你就震撼，連深淵也顫抖！烏雲傾瀉雨水，雲朵發出聲音，你的箭也飛射四方。你的雷聲在旋風中，你的閃電照亮世界，大地顫抖震動。你的道路在海洋中，你的路途在大水上，但你的腳蹤沒有人知道。你藉著摩西和亞倫的手，引導你的子民如同引導羊群。

當稱謝那把紅海分為兩邊的，因他的慈愛永遠長存！他使以色列從其中經過，因他的慈愛永遠長存！卻把法老和他的軍隊抖落在紅海中，因他的慈愛永遠長存！

海水看見了就逃跑，約旦河也倒流。群山跳躍如公羊，岡陵跳躍如羊羔。海水啊，你為什麼逃跑呢？約旦河啊，你為什麼倒流呢？

並且他領受了割禮的標記，做為他沒有受割禮時因信稱義的印證，使他成為所有不憑著割禮而信之人的父，也使他們被算為義；

因為神如果沒有顧惜原生的樹枝，恐怕也不會顧惜你。

我們的祖先在這山上敬拜，而你們卻說敬拜的地方必須在耶路撒冷。」

而且，如果你們屬於基督，你們就是亞伯拉罕的後裔，是照著應許的繼承人。

我又看見一片好像混著火的玻璃海；那些勝過了獸和獸像以及牠名字數目的人，都拿著神的豎琴，站在玻璃海上；他們唱著神的奴僕摩西之歌和羔羊之歌，說：「主、神、全能者啊，你的作為又偉大又奇妙！列國之王啊，你的道路又公義又真實！
