耶希伊利的兒子西坦和他兄弟約珥掌管耶和華殿裏的府庫。暗蘭族、以斯哈族、希伯倫族、烏泄族也有職分。摩西的孫子、革舜的兒子細布業掌管府庫。還有他的弟兄以利以謝。以利以謝的兒子是利哈比雅；利哈比雅的兒子是耶篩亞；耶篩亞的兒子是約蘭；約蘭的兒子是細基利；細基利的兒子是示羅密。這示羅密和他的弟兄掌管府庫的聖物，就是大衛王和眾族長、千夫長、百夫長，並軍長所分別為聖的物。

將王和謀士、軍長，並在那裏的以色列眾人為我們神殿所獻的金銀和器皿，都秤了交給他們。我秤了交在他們手中的銀子有六百五十他連得；銀器重一百他連得；金子一百他連得；金碗二十個，重一千達利克；上等光銅的器皿兩個，寶貴如金。我對他們說：「你們歸耶和華為聖，器皿也為聖；金銀是甘心獻給耶和華－你們列祖之神的。你們當警醒看守，直到你們在耶路撒冷耶和華殿的庫內，在祭司長和利未族長，並以色列的各族長面前過了秤。」於是，祭司、利未人按着分量接受金銀和器皿，要帶到耶路撒冷我們神的殿裏。

先是蒙派管理我們神殿中庫房的祭司以利亞實與多比雅結親，便為他預備一間大屋子，就是從前收存素祭、乳香、器皿，和照命令供給利未人、歌唱的、守門的五穀、新酒，和油的十分之一，並歸祭司舉祭的屋子。
