耶希伊利的兒子西坦和他的兄弟約珥，掌管耶和華殿裡的庫房。至於暗蘭家族、以斯哈家族、希伯倫家族和烏薛家族，也各有職守。摩西的孫子、革順的兒子細布業作庫房的總管。細布業的兄弟是以利以謝；以利以謝的兒子是利哈比雅，利哈比雅的兒子是耶篩亞，耶篩亞的兒子是約蘭，約蘭的兒子是細基利，細基利的兒子是示羅密。這示羅密和他的兄弟掌管庫房裡的一切聖物，就是大衛王、眾家族首領、千夫長、百夫長和軍長所獻的聖物。

把金子、銀子和器皿，就是王和他的謀士、領袖，以及在那裡的以色列眾人獻給我們神殿的禮物，都稱了交給他們。我稱了交在他們手中的銀子，有二十二公噸，銀器重三千四百公斤、金子三千四百公斤。金碗二十個，價值八公斤半；上好而發亮的銅器兩個，像黃金那樣寶貴。“我對他們說：‘你們是歸耶和華為聖的，器皿也是神聖的，金銀是甘心獻給耶和華你們列祖的神的禮物。你們要謹慎看守，直到你們在耶路撒冷耶和華殿的庫房裡，在祭司長和利未人的領袖，以及以色列人的族長面前，過了秤。’於是祭司和利未人把稱過了的金銀和器皿收下，帶到耶路撒冷我們神的殿裡。

這事以前，受委派管理我們神殿的庫房的以利亞實祭司，與多比雅的關係很密切。他為多比雅預備了一間大房間，那裡以前是用來收存素祭、乳香和器皿，還有祭司的舉祭，以及按照命令供給利未人、歌唱者和守門的那些五穀、新酒和新油的十分之一。
