主耶和华如此说：“内院朝东的门，在六个工作的日子必须关闭；惟有安息日和初一要敞开。王从外面要由门的走廊进入，站在门框旁边；祭司要为他预备燔祭和平安祭，王要在门的门槛那里敬拜，然后退出。这门直到晚上不可关闭。

席上的食物，坐着的群臣，侍立的仆人，他们的服装，和他的司酒长，以及他在耶和华殿里所献的燔祭，就诧异得神不守舍。

又率领百夫长，迦利人和护卫兵，以及国中的众百姓，请王从耶和华的殿下来，由护卫兵的门进入王宫，他就坐上王位。
