The people rejoiced at the willing response of their leaders, for they had given freely and wholeheartedly to the Lord. David the king also rejoiced greatly.

各人要随本心所酌定的，不要作难，不要勉强，因为捐得乐意的人是神所喜爱的。神能将各样的恩惠多多地加给你们，使你们凡事常常充足，能多行各样善事。

我的神啊，我知道你察验人心，喜悦正直；我以正直的心乐意献上这一切物。现在我喜欢见你的民在这里都乐意奉献与你。

我靠主大大地喜乐，因为你们思念我的心如今又发生；你们向来就思念我，只是没得机会。

“这些事我已经对你们说了，是要叫我的喜乐存在你们心里，并叫你们的喜乐可以满足。

但提摩太刚才从你们那里回来，将你们信心和爱心的好消息报给我们，又说你们常常记念我们，切切地想见我们，如同我们想见你们一样。所以，弟兄们，我们在一切困苦患难之中，因着你们的信心就得了安慰。你们若靠主站立得稳，我们就活了。我们在神面前，因着你们甚是喜乐；为这一切喜乐，可用何等的感谢为你们报答神呢？

你要照耶和华你神所赐你的福，手里拿着甘心祭，献在耶和华你的神面前，守七七节。你和你儿女、仆婢，并住在你城里的利未人，以及在你们中间寄居的与孤儿寡妇，都要在耶和华你神所选择立为他名的居所，在耶和华你的神面前欢乐。

就请朋友邻舍来，对他们说：‘我失去的羊已经找着了，你们和我一同欢喜吧！’

因为人若有愿做的心，必蒙悦纳，乃是照他所有的，并不是照他所无的。

我心倾向以色列的首领，他们在民中甘心牺牲自己。你们应当颂赞耶和华！

我儿，你心若存智慧，我的心也甚欢喜。你的嘴若说正直话，我的心肠也必快乐。

使你们无可指摘，诚实无伪，在这弯曲悖谬的世代作神无瑕疵的儿女。你们显在这世代中，好像明光照耀，将生命的道表明出来，叫我在基督的日子好夸我没有空跑，也没有徒劳。我以你们的信心为供献的祭物，我若被浇奠在其上，也是喜乐，并且与你们众人一同喜乐。
