也不理會當時祭司待人民的規矩。凡是有人獻祭，在煮肉的時候，祭司的僕人就來，手裡拿著三齒的叉，把叉子插入煎盤裡，或鼎裡，或釜裡，或鍋裡，叉子插上來的，祭司都拿去。所有到示羅來的以色列人，祭司都是這樣待他們。

所羅門又做了耶和華殿裡的一切器具，就是金壇和放陳設餅的桌子，內殿前面的精金燈臺，右邊五行，左邊五行；還有金花、金燈盞，精金的碗盆、燭剪、盤子、調羹和火鼎，內殿至聖所的門框和外殿的門樞。

他的供物是一個銀盤，重一公斤半，一個銀碗，重八百克，都是按聖所的秤；這兩樣都盛滿調油的細麵作素祭；一個金盂，重一百一十克，盛滿了香；

所羅門的一切飲器都是金子做的；黎巴嫩林宮裡的一切器皿也都是精金做的，沒有用銀子做的；原來在所羅門王的時代，銀子算不得甚麼。

用純金做的燈臺和燈盞，按定例在內殿門前燃點，還有燈花、燈盞和燭剪，都是精金做的。又有剪刀、盤子、調羹和火鼎，都是用精金做的。殿門，就是進入至聖所裡面的門和正殿的門，都是金的。
