Yet he did not let anyone oppress them. He warned kings on their behalf:

耶和华不容什么人欺负他们，为他们的缘故责备君王，

他不容人欺负他们，为他们的缘故责备君王：

他不容人欺负他们，为他们的缘故责备君王：

耶和华不容人压迫他们，还为他们的缘故责备君王，

耶和华不容许任何人欺压他们，曾为了他们的缘故责备君王，

耶和華不容甚麼人欺負他們，為他們的緣故責備君王，

他不容人欺負他們，為他們的緣故責備君王：

他不容人欺負他們，為他們的緣故責備君王：

耶和華不容人壓迫他們，還為他們的緣故責備君王，

耶和華不容許任何人欺壓他們，曾為了他們的緣故責備君王，

永恆主不容任何人欺壓他們；他為了他們的緣故曾指責君王，

上帝不容人虐遇之、因之譴責列王兮、

上帝不容人虐遇、苟為列王所侮、譴責必加。

主不容人欺虐之、因彼之故、懲治列王、

He allowed no one to oppress them; for their sake he rebuked kings:

But God didn’t allow anyone to treat them badly. To keep them safe, he gave a command to kings.

He permitted no man to do them wrong; Yes, He rebuked kings for their sakes,

He suffered no man to do them wrong; Yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,

He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,

He let no one oppress them, he disciplined kings for their sake,

He allowed no man to do them wrong. Yes, he reproved kings for their sakes,

But the Lord sent terrible plagues upon Pharaoh and his household because of Sarai, Abram’s wife.

But that night God came to Abimelech in a dream and told him,“ You are a dead man, for that woman you have taken is already married!”

So go to Pharaoh in the morning as he goes down to the river. Stand on the bank of the Nile and meet him there. Be sure to take along the staff that turned into a snake.Then announce to him,‘ The Lord, the God of the Hebrews, has sent me to tell you,“ Let my people go, so they can worship me in the wilderness.” Until now, you have refused to listen to him.So this is what the Lord says:“ I will show you that I am the Lord.” Look! I will strike the water of the Nile with this staff in my hand, and the river will turn to blood.The fish in it will die, and the river will stink. The Egyptians will not be able to drink any water from the Nile.’”

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Get up early in the morning and stand before Pharaoh. Tell him,‘ This is what the Lord, the God of the Hebrews, says: Let my people go, so they can worship me.If you don’t, I will send more plagues on you and your officials and your people. Then you will know that there is no one like me in all the earth.By now I could have lifted my hand and struck you and your people with a plague to wipe you off the face of the earth.But I have spared you for a purpose— to show you my power and to spread my fame throughout the earth.But you still lord it over my people and refuse to let them go.So tomorrow at this time I will send a hailstorm more devastating than any in all the history of Egypt.

In fact, if the God of my father had not been on my side— the God of Abraham and the fearsome God of Isaac— you would have sent me away empty handed. But God has seen your abuse and my hard work. That is why he appeared to you last night and rebuked you!”

But the previous night God had appeared to Laban the Aramean in a dream and told him,“ I’m warning you— leave Jacob alone!”

I could destroy you, but the God of your father appeared to me last night and warned me,‘ Leave Jacob alone!’
