David and all Israel went to Baalah of Judah( Kiriath Jearim) to bring up from there the ark of God the Lord, who is enthroned between the cherubim— the ark that is called by the Name.

David went to Baalah of Judah. The whole community of Israel went with him. Baalah is also called Kiriath Jearim. All the people went there to get the ark of God the Lord. He sits on his throne between the cherubim. The ark is named after the Lord.

And David and all Israel went up to Baalah, that is, to Kiriath-jearim that belongs to Judah, to bring up from there the ark of God, which is called by the name of the Lord who sits enthroned above the cherubim.

Then David and all Israel went to Baalah of Judah( also called Kiriath jearim) to bring back the Ark of God, which bears the name of the Lord who is enthroned between the cherubim.

禱曰、居𠼻𡀔咏間、以色列族之上帝耶和華、既造天地、則在天下列國中、爾獨為上帝、

我將降臨於𠼻𡀔［口氷］間、法匱施恩所之上、以諭言示爾、使告以色列族。○

當時有居𠼻𡀔［口氷］間萬物主耶和華之約匱在示羅、以利二子、何弗尼非尼哈在側、民遣使詣彼、以攜之至。

基烈巴力、即基列耶林、喇巴、共二邑、與其鄉里。

我使至即我至、必不宥爾愆、故當遵其命。毋干厥怒。

摩西入會幕、與耶和華言、則聞𠼻𡀔［口氷］間、法匱施恩所之上、聲從此出、而與之言、耶和華之諭摩西常在乎此。

以色列之牧者、導約瑟一族、若導群羊兮、請聽我祈、爾居𠼻𡀔［口氷］間、彰爾榮光兮、

當以土築壇、獻牛羊為燔祭、臚陳其上、亦為酬恩之祭。凡我使人至籲我名之所、我必臨格、而錫嘏焉。

率眾往猶大之巴勒、欲舁上帝之匱至、匱前民籲居𠼻𡀔［口氷］間萬有之主耶和華。取上帝之匱、載於新車、御車者亞庇拿撻二子、一曰烏撒、一曰亞希阿、出亞庇拿撻之家、自山巔而下。亞希阿行於匱前。大闢及以色列族眾、踴躍於耶和華前或敲鈸、或播鼗擊磬、或鳴琴鼓瑟、其樂器間有松木所製者。至拿干穀場、舁匱之牛桀驁不馴、烏撒僭扶上帝之匱。耶和華怒責其過、使殞沒於匱前。上帝擊烏撒、大闢不悅、名其地曰、比列烏撒、至於今日、其名尚存。時大闢畏耶和華曰、可使耶和華之匱適我邑乎。故不舁之至大闢邑中、轉往他所、至迦特人、阿別以東家。耶和華之匱居彼三月、耶和華錫嘏於阿別以東全家。

如是以我名加以色列族、我特錫嘏焉。

所許之言曰、自耶和華導以色列民、出埃及以來、迄於今日、未嘗於以色列支派中、遴選一邑、使人建殿、為籲名之所、惟簡大闢、治理我民。
