David and all Israel went to Baalah of Judah( Kiriath Jearim) to bring up from there the ark of God the Lord, who is enthroned between the cherubim— the ark that is called by the Name.

David went to Baalah of Judah. The whole community of Israel went with him. Baalah is also called Kiriath Jearim. All the people went there to get the ark of God the Lord. He sits on his throne between the cherubim. The ark is named after the Lord.

And David and all Israel went up to Baalah, that is, to Kiriath-jearim that belongs to Judah, to bring up from there the ark of God, which is called by the name of the Lord who sits enthroned above the cherubim.

Then David and all Israel went to Baalah of Judah( also called Kiriath jearim) to bring back the Ark of God, which bears the name of the Lord who is enthroned between the cherubim.

希西家在永恆主面前禱告說：『永恆主、以色列的上帝、坐在基路伯中間的啊，惟獨你是地上萬國的上帝；是你造了天和地。

我要在那裏和你相會，也要從除罪蓋的上邊、從法櫃上兩基路伯之間、將我所要吩咐你傳給以色列人的一切事和你講說。

於是人民打發了人到示羅，從那裏將坐在兩個基路伯上的萬軍之永恆主的約櫃抬來；以利的兩個兒子何弗尼非尼哈跟上帝的約櫃一同來。

又有基列巴力（基列巴力就是基列耶琳）、拉巴：兩座城，還有屬這兩城的村莊。

你們在他面前要謹慎，聽從他的話，不可悖逆他；他必不赦免你們的過犯；因為他是奉我的名的。

摩西進會棚要和永恆主說話的時候，聽見法櫃上除罪蓋上兩個基路伯中間、有聲音和他說話，是這樣對他說的。

那牧養以色列者，那領約瑟如羊羣的啊，側耳聽哦！坐在兩個基路伯上的啊，求你射發光輝

你只要給我造土壇，在上面祭獻你的燔祭和平安祭、你的羊和牛；凡我使人記念我名的各地方，我都要到你那裏賜福與你。

大衛就起身，他和跟隨的眾人、以及一些猶大領袖、一同到基列耶琳，要從那裏將上帝的櫃運上來：這櫃是以乘坐兩個基路伯的萬軍永恆主耶和華之名而起名的。他們將上帝的櫃套在一輛新車上，從山岡上亞比拿達家裏抬出來；亞比拿達的兒子烏撒和亞希約趕着這新車。烏撒和上帝的櫃同行，亞希約在櫃前頭走着。大衛和以色列全家用詩歌、拿琴瑟、手鼓、響板和鐃鈸在永恆主面前極力嬉戲作樂。他們到了拿艮的禾場，因牛有放下之勢，烏撒就伸手把上帝的櫃扶住。永恆主向烏撒發怒；上帝因了他的冒失、就在那裏擊打他，他就在那裏死在上帝的櫃旁。為了永恆主突然殺死烏撒的緣故，大衛就發怒，因此那地方到今日還叫做毘列斯烏撒。那一天大衛懼怕永恆主，說：『永恆主的櫃怎可到我這裏來呢？』於是大衛不肯將永恆主的櫃運進大衛城到他那裏，卻轉而運到迦特人俄別以東的住宅。永恆主的櫃停在迦特人俄別以東的住宅三個月；永恆主賜福與俄別以東和他全家。

『萬軍之永恆主、以色列的上帝、坐在基路伯中間的啊，惟獨你是地上萬國的上帝；是你造了天地。

他們要這樣奉我的名給以色列人祝福，我也要賜福與他們。』

「自從我領我人民以色列出埃及的日子以來、我都未曾從以色列眾族派中選擇一座城來建殿、讓我的名可以長在那裏，我只揀選了大衛來管理我人民以色列。」

永恆主作王，萬族之民戰抖；他坐在兩個基路伯之上，大地震動。
