David and all Israel went to Baalah of Judah( Kiriath Jearim) to bring up from there the ark of God the Lord, who is enthroned between the cherubim— the ark that is called by the Name.

David went to Baalah of Judah. The whole community of Israel went with him. Baalah is also called Kiriath Jearim. All the people went there to get the ark of God the Lord. He sits on his throne between the cherubim. The ark is named after the Lord.

And David and all Israel went up to Baalah, that is, to Kiriath-jearim that belongs to Judah, to bring up from there the ark of God, which is called by the name of the Lord who sits enthroned above the cherubim.

Then David and all Israel went to Baalah of Judah( also called Kiriath jearim) to bring back the Ark of God, which bears the name of the Lord who is enthroned between the cherubim.

又從山頂延到尼弗多亞的水源，通到以弗崙山的城邑，又延到巴拉（巴拉就是基列‧耶琳）；

希西家向耶和華禱告說：「坐在二基路伯上耶和華－以色列的神啊，你是天下萬國的神，你曾創造天地。

我要在那裏與你相會，又要從法櫃施恩座上二基路伯中間，和你說我所要吩咐你傳給以色列人的一切事。」

於是百姓打發人到示羅，從那裏將坐在二基路伯上萬軍之耶和華的約櫃擡來。以利的兩個兒子何弗尼、非尼哈與神的約櫃同來。

又有基列‧巴力（基列‧巴力就是基列‧耶琳）、拉巴，共兩座城，還有屬城的村莊。

他是奉我名來的；你們要在他面前謹慎，聽從他的話，不可惹他，因為他必不赦免你們的過犯。

摩西進會幕要與耶和華說話的時候，聽見法櫃的施恩座以上、二基路伯中間有與他說話的聲音，就是耶和華與他說話。

領約瑟如領羊羣之以色列的牧者啊，求你留心聽！坐在二基路伯上的啊，求你發出光來！

你要為我築土壇，在上面以牛羊獻為燔祭和平安祭。凡記下我名的地方，我必到那裏賜福給你。

大衛起身，率領跟隨他的眾人前往，要從巴拉‧猶大將神的約櫃運來；這約櫃就是坐在二基路伯上萬軍之耶和華留名的約櫃。他們將神的約櫃從岡上亞比拿達的家裏擡出來，放在新車上；亞比拿達的兩個兒子烏撒和亞希約趕這新車。他們將神的約櫃從岡上亞比拿達家裏擡出來的時候，亞希約在櫃前行走。大衛和以色列的全家在耶和華面前，用松木製造的各樣樂器和琴、瑟、鼓、鈸、鑼，作樂跳舞。到了拿艮的禾場，因為牛失前蹄，烏撒就伸手扶住神的約櫃。神耶和華向烏撒發怒，因這錯誤擊殺他，他就死在神的約櫃旁。大衛因耶和華擊殺烏撒，心裏愁煩，就稱那地方為毗列斯‧烏撒，直到今日。那日，大衛懼怕耶和華，說：「耶和華的約櫃怎可運到我這裏來？」於是大衛不肯將耶和華的約櫃運進大衛的城，卻運到迦特人俄別‧以東的家中。耶和華的約櫃在迦特人俄別‧以東家中三個月；耶和華賜福給俄別‧以東和他的全家。

「坐在二基路伯上萬軍之耶和華－以色列的神啊，你－惟有你是天下萬國的神，你曾創造天地。

他們要如此奉我的名為以色列人祝福；我也要賜福給他們。」

他說：『自從我領我民以色列出埃及以來，我未曾在以色列各支派中選擇一城建造殿宇－為我名的居所，但揀選大衛治理我民以色列。』」

耶和華作王；萬民當戰抖！他坐在二基路伯上，地當動搖。
