David and all Israel went to Baalah of Judah( Kiriath Jearim) to bring up from there the ark of God the Lord, who is enthroned between the cherubim— the ark that is called by the Name.

David went to Baalah of Judah. The whole community of Israel went with him. Baalah is also called Kiriath Jearim. All the people went there to get the ark of God the Lord. He sits on his throne between the cherubim. The ark is named after the Lord.

And David and all Israel went up to Baalah, that is, to Kiriath-jearim that belongs to Judah, to bring up from there the ark of God, which is called by the name of the Lord who sits enthroned above the cherubim.

Then David and all Israel went to Baalah of Judah( also called Kiriath jearim) to bring back the Ark of God, which bears the name of the Lord who is enthroned between the cherubim.

又有基列．巴力（基列．巴力就是基列．耶琳）、拉巴，共兩座城，還有屬於這些城的村莊。

你們在他面前要謹慎，要聽他的話，不可違背他；不然，他必不赦免你們的過犯，因為他是奉我的名來的。

摩西進入會幕要與耶和華說話的時候，就聽見法櫃的施恩座上，二基路伯中間，有與他說話的聲音，是耶和華與他說話。

以色列的牧者啊！帶領約瑟好像帶領羊群的啊！求你留心聽；坐在基路伯上面的啊！求你顯出榮光。

你要為我築一座土壇，把你的燔祭、平安祭和牛羊獻在壇上；在我使人記念我名的地方，我都必到你那裡去賜福你。

大衛和與他在一起的眾人起程前去，要從巴拉‧猶大把神的約櫃運來，這約櫃的名稱是以坐在二基路伯之上萬軍之耶和華的名字而起的。他們把神的約櫃從山岡上亞比拿達的家裡抬出來，安放在一輛新車上；亞比拿達的兩個兒子，烏撒和亞希約趕著這輛新車，車上有神的約櫃（按《七十士譯本》、《死海古卷》和《馬索拉文本》在本句前有“他們從山岡上亞比拿達的家裡抬出來”，可能是抄寫員無意中重複了第3節的字句）。亞希約走在約櫃的前面。大衛和以色列全家在耶和華面前用各種松木製造的樂器，就是用琴、瑟、鼓、鈸、鑼，作樂跳舞。他們到了拿艮的打禾場的時候，因為牛幾乎絆倒，烏撒就伸手扶住神的約櫃。耶和華的怒氣向烏撒發作；神因這錯誤的舉動，就當場擊殺他，他就死在神的約櫃旁邊。大衛因為耶和華擊殺了烏撒，就很生氣，因此稱那地方為毗列斯‧烏撒，直到今日。那一天，大衛懼怕耶和華，說：“耶和華的約櫃怎可以到我這裡來呢？”於是大衛不肯把耶和華的約櫃運進大衛的城到他那裡去，卻轉運到迦特人俄別‧以東的家裡去。耶和華的約櫃在迦特人俄別‧以東的家停留了三個月，耶和華賜福給俄別‧以東和他的全家。

“萬軍之耶和華，以色列的神，坐在二基路伯中間的啊！唯獨你是地上萬國的神；你創造了天地。

他們要這樣奉我的名為以色列人祝福，我也要賜福他們。”

‘自從我把我的子民以色列領出埃及的日子以來，我未曾在以色列的各支派中揀選一座城，建造殿宇，作我名的居所；但我揀選了大衛治理我的子民以色列。’

耶和華作王，萬民都要戰慄；他坐在兩個基路伯之上，大地也要震動。
