So David assembled all Israel, from the Shihor River in Egypt to Lebo Hamath, to bring the ark of God from Kiriath Jearim.

David gathered together all the Israelites. They came from the area between the Shihor River in Egypt and Lebo Hamath. They came to bring the ark of God from Kiriath Jearim to Jerusalem.

So David assembled all Israel from the Nile of Egypt to Lebo-hamath, to bring the ark of God from Kiriath-jearim.

大衛又聚集以色列中所有揀選出來的三萬人。

那時所羅門與從哈馬口直到埃及小河的以色列人，都在耶和華我們的神面前舉行盛大的集會，守節七天，又七天，一共十四天。

於是，大衛把以色列人都招聚到耶路撒冷，要把耶和華的約櫃抬上來，到大衛給它預備好的地方去。

巴比倫王擊殺他們，在哈馬地的利比拉把他們處死。這樣，猶大人被擄，離開了他們的國土。

你們的邊界要從押們轉到埃及河，直達到海。“‘西界方面，你們有大海和海岸；這要作你們的西界。“‘你們的北界如下：從大海起畫界，直到何珥山；從何珥山起畫界，直到哈馬口，使邊界直到西達達；

大衛和以色列眾人去到巴拉，就是屬猶大的基列．耶琳，要從那裡把神的約櫃運回來；這約櫃是以坐在二基路伯上面的耶和華而起名的。

所羅門統治列國，從大河到非利士地，直到埃及的邊界。這些國家，在所羅門在世的日子，都向他進貢，服事他。

從埃及東面的西曷河，向北直到以革倫的境界（這都算是迦南人的地方），由五個非利士人的首領管轄的迦薩人、亞實突人、亞實基倫人、迦特人、以革倫人的地方；並且有亞衛人，他們是在南方，以及迦南人全境和屬西頓人的米亞拉，直到亞弗和亞摩利人的境界；還有迦巴勒人的地和東面的黎巴嫩全境，從黑門山下的巴力．迦得，直到哈馬口；從黎巴嫩直到米斯利弗．瑪音，所有住在山地的居民，就是所有的西頓人，我必在以色列人面前把他們趕出去。你只要照著我吩咐你的，把這地抽籤分給以色列人作產業。

現在，你為甚麼要到埃及去，喝西曷的水呢？你為甚麼要到亞述去，喝幼發拉底河的水呢？
