David and all Israel went to Baalah of Judah( Kiriath Jearim) to bring up from there the ark of God the Lord, who is enthroned between the cherubim— the ark that is called by the Name.

David went to Baalah of Judah. The whole community of Israel went with him. Baalah is also called Kiriath Jearim. All the people went there to get the ark of God the Lord. He sits on his throne between the cherubim. The ark is named after the Lord.

And David and all Israel went up to Baalah, that is, to Kiriath-jearim that belongs to Judah, to bring up from there the ark of God, which is called by the name of the Lord who sits enthroned above the cherubim.

Then David and all Israel went to Baalah of Judah( also called Kiriath jearim) to bring back the Ark of God, which bears the name of the Lord who is enthroned between the cherubim.

祷告说：“坐在二基路伯天使之上、以色列的上帝耶和华啊，唯有你是天下万国的上帝，你创造了天地。

我就在那里跟你会面，从两个基路伯天使中间的施恩座上，把要传给以色列百姓的一切诫命告诉你。

于是，他们派人去示罗把那坐在基路伯天使上的万军之耶和华的约柜抬来。以利的两个儿子何弗尼和非尼哈也随上帝的约柜同来。

还有基列·巴力——即基列·耶琳、拉巴两座城及其附近的乡村。

他是奉我的名来的，你们要谨遵他的话，不可悖逆，不然他必不赦免你们的过犯。

每当摩西走进会幕要与耶和华说话时，便听见耶和华从约柜的施恩座上、两个基路伯天使中间对他说话。

以色列的牧者啊，你像照顾羊群一样带领约瑟的子孙，求你垂听我们的祈祷。坐在基路伯天使之上的耶和华啊，求你向以法莲、便雅悯和玛拿西发出光辉，求你施展大能来拯救我们。

你们要为我筑一座土坛，把你们的牛羊献在坛上作燔祭和平安祭。凡是我使自己的名号被尊崇的地方，我会亲临那里赐福给你们。

率领他们到犹大的巴拉去接上帝的约柜。这约柜以坐在基路伯天使上面的万军之耶和华的名字命名。他们把上帝的约柜从坐落在山上的亚比拿达家抬出来，放在一辆新造的牛车上，由亚比拿达的两个儿子乌撒和亚希约赶车，亚希约走在约柜前面。大卫和全体以色列人在耶和华面前用琴、瑟、鼓、钹和锣奏乐，尽情歌舞。他们走到拿肯的麦场时，拉车的牛失蹄，乌撒便伸手去扶上帝的约柜。耶和华上帝就向乌撒发怒，因他的不敬而击杀了他。他死在了约柜旁边。大卫因耶和华击杀乌撒而烦恼，就称那地方为毗列斯·乌撒，沿用至今。那天，大卫惧怕耶和华，他说：“耶和华的约柜怎能运到我这里？”他不愿把耶和华的约柜运进大卫城，而是把它运到迦特人俄别·以东家。耶和华的约柜在俄别·以东家停放了三个月，耶和华赐福给俄别·以东和他全家。

“坐在二基路伯天使之上、以色列的上帝——万军之耶和华啊，唯有你是天下万国的上帝，你创造了天地。

他们要奉我的名为以色列人祝福，我必赐福给他们。”

祂曾说，‘自从我把我的以色列子民带出埃及以来，我并没有在以色列各支派中选出一座城来建造殿宇，作为我名下的居所。我只是拣选了大卫来治理我的以色列子民。’”

耶和华掌权，万民当战抖；祂坐在基路伯天使之上，大地当战抖。
