那时神的灵感动那三十个勇士的首领亚玛撒，他就说：“大卫啊，我们是归于你的！耶西的儿子啊，我们是帮助你的！愿你平平安安，愿帮助你的也都平安！因为你的神帮助你。”大卫就收留他们，立他们作军长。

那时军官的领袖亚玛撒受灵的感动说：“大卫啊，我们归向你！耶西的儿子啊，我们帮助你！愿你平平安安，愿帮助你的也都平安！因为你的上帝帮助你。”大卫就收留他们，派他们作军官。

Then the Spirit came on Amasai, chief of the Thirty, and he said:“ We are yours, David! We are with you, son of Jesse! Success, success to you, and success to those who help you, for your God will help you.” So David received them and made them leaders of his raiding bands.

The Spirit of God came on Amasai. He was leader of the 30 chiefs. He said,“ David, we belong to you! Son of Jesse, we’re on your side! May you have great success. May those who help you also have success. Your God will help you.” So David welcomed them. He made them leaders in his army.

Then the Spirit clothed Amasai, chief of the thirty, and he said,“ We are yours, O David, and with you, O son of Jesse! Peace, peace to you, and peace to your helpers! For your God helps you.” Then David received them and made them officers of his troops.

Then the Spirit came upon Amasai, the leader of the Thirty, and he said,“ We are yours, David! We are on your side, son of Jesse. Peace and prosperity be with you, and success to all who help you, for your God is the one who helps you.” So David let them join him, and he made them officers over his troops.

Then the Spirit enveloped Amasai, chief of the Thirty, and he said: We are yours, David, we are with you, son of Jesse! Peace, peace to you, and peace to him who helps you, for your God helps you. So David received them and made them leaders of his troops.

Then the Spirit covered Amasai like clothing, the chief of the thirty; and he said,“ We are yours, David, And are with you, son of Jesse! Peace, peace to you, And peace to him who helps you; Indeed, your God helps you!” Then David received them and made them captains of the troops.

Then the Spirit came upon Amasai, chief of the captains, and he said:“ We are yours, O David; We are on your side, O son of Jesse! Peace, peace to you, And peace to your helpers! For your God helps you.” So David received them, and made them captains of the troop.

Then the Spirit came upon Amasai, who was chief of the thirty, and he said, Thine are we, David, and on thy side, thou son of Jesse: peace, peace be unto thee, and peace be to thy helpers; for thy God helpeth thee. Then David received them, and made them captains of the band.

Then the Spirit took control of Amasai, chief of the Thirty, and he said: We are yours, David, we are with you, son of Jesse! Peace, peace to you, and peace to him who helps you, for your God helps you. So David received them and made them leaders of his troops.

Then the spirit came upon Amasai,[ who was] chief of the captains,[ and he said], Thine[ are we], David, and on thy side, thou son of Jesse: peace, peace[ be] unto thee, and peace[ be] to thine helpers; for thy God helpeth thee. Then David received them, and made them captains of the band.

But a spirit empowered Amasai, the leader of the thirty warriors, and he said:“ We are yours, O David! We support you, O son of Jesse! May you greatly prosper! May those who help you prosper! Indeed your God helps you!” So David accepted them and made them leaders of raiding bands.

Then the Spirit came on Amasai, who was chief of the thirty, and he said,“ We are yours, David, and on your side, you son of Jesse. Peace, peace be to you, and peace be to your helpers; for your God helps you.” Then David received them, and made them captains of the band.

永恆主的靈覆被在基甸身上，他就吹號角；亞比以謝族便都應召來跟從他。

押沙龍立了亞瑪撒統領軍隊，去代替約押。亞瑪撒是一個人名叫以實瑪利人以特拉的兒子；以特拉曾經和拿轄的女兒亞比該同床；這亞比該和約押的母親洗魯雅是姐妹。

於是耶穌就對那十二個人說：『難道你們也想要去麼？』西門彼得回答他說：『主啊，我們要去歸誰呢？你有永生之話語啊！

永恆主的靈感動他，他就作士師來拯救以色列；他出去爭戰，永恆主將亞蘭王古珊利薩田交在他手中，他的手就強過古珊利薩田。

管家的和市長跟長老們和養育王子的、就打發人去見耶戶，說：『我們是你的僕人；凡你所吩咐我們的、我們都要遵行。我們不立甚麼人做王；你看怎麼好、就怎麼行好啦。』

願弟兄們由父上帝和主耶穌基督得到平安與愛同信！凡愛我們主耶穌基督的人、願恩惠永與他們同在於不朽中！

路得說：『不要催我離開你而回去、不跟着你；你往哪裏去，我也往哪裏去；你在哪裏住宿，我也在哪裏住宿；你的族人就是我的族人；你的上帝就是我的上帝；

凡依這準繩按規矩行的，願平安憐憫加給他們，也加給上帝的以色列民。

耶戶抬頭看那窗戶，說：『誰擁護我？誰？』有兩三個太監在眺望着他。

不同着我的、就是敵我；不同我收集的、就是分散。

亞比該生亞瑪撒，亞瑪撒的父親是以實瑪利人益帖。

就打發十個僮僕，對僮僕們說：『你們上迦密去見拿八，提我的名向他問安。要對我的弟兄這麼說：「願你平安，願你家平安，願你一切所有的都平安。

乙太回答王說：『我指着永活的永恆主來起誓，也指着我主我王的性命來起誓，無論我主我王在甚麼地方，或死或活，僕人總要在那裏的。』

你們也要對亞瑪撒說：「你不是我的骨肉麼？我若不立你代替約押常在我面前做軍長，願永恆主這樣嚴厲地待我，並且加倍地嚴厲。」』

王對亞瑪撒說：『你要在三天之內將猶大人給我招聚了來；你也要在這裏站班。』亞瑪撒就去招聚猶大人，卻遲過了王所限定的日期。大衛對亞比篩說：『現在比基利的兒子示巴必加害於我們、比押沙龍更厲害：你要帶領你主上的僕人去追趕他，免得他得了堡壘城，就奪了我們的視線。』約押和做衛兵的基利提人比利提人並所有的勇士都跟着亞比篩，從耶路撒冷出去，追趕比基利的兒子示巴。他們到了基遍境內的大石頭附近，亞瑪撒向着他們迎面而來。那時約押穿着戰衣，腰束佩刀帶，刀在鞘裏；他走出行伍的時候，這刀掉了下來。

萬軍之永恆主這麼說：當那些日子列國說各樣語言的人之中十個人必拉住一個猶大人的衣邊、說：「讓我們和你們一同去吧！因為我們聽說上帝與你們同在。」』

他必派他們做他的千夫長、五十夫長，犂他所當犂的田，收割他所可收割的，製造他的戰器和車上的器械。

但是以色列人呢、所羅門卻沒有使他們當奴隸；他們乃是戰士，乃是他的臣僕、軍長、軍官、和車兵長馬兵長。

請饒恕使女的過犯；永恆主必定為我主建立一個堅固的王朝，因為我主打的乃是永恆主的仗；並且在你平生的日子也找不着有甚麼壞事。雖有人起來追逼你、尋索你性命，我主的性命卻在永恆主你的上帝那裏包在活人的寶貝包裏；惟獨你仇敵的性命、永恆主卻要甩去，像在機弦窩中甩出去一樣。

掃羅就對左右侍立的臣僕說：『便雅憫人哪，你們聽吧！耶西的兒子不但要將田地和葡萄園賜給你們各人！也要立你們各人做千夫長或百夫長呢！

在瑪哈尼但（也即是在瑣拉）與以實陶之間、永恆主的靈開始攪動參孫。

從前掃羅做王管理我們的時候、率領以色列人出入的乃是你。永恆主也曾對你說過：『是你要牧養我人民以色列；是你要做人君來管理以色列。」』

他穿着義氣為鎧甲，將拯救的頭盔戴在頭上；他穿着替人伸冤的衣裳為服裝，披着熱心為外袍。
