大衛出去和他們見面，跟他們應對說：『你們若是和和平平地到我這裏來幫助我，我就和你們一心一意；但你們若將我這手無強暴的人騙在敵人手裏，那麼願我們列祖的上帝察看而斷定是非。』

大卫出去迎接他们，对他们说：“你们若是和和平平地来帮助我，我心就与你们相契；你们若是将我这无罪的人卖在敌人手里，愿我们列祖的神察看责罚。”

大卫出去迎接他们，回答他们说：“你们若和平地来帮助我，我的心就与你们契合；但你们若把我这双手无辜的人卖给敌人，愿我们列祖的上帝察看责罚。”

大卫出去迎接他们，说：“如果你们是好心来帮助我的，我就与你们结盟，但如果你们把我这无罪之人出卖给敌人，愿我们祖先的上帝鉴察、惩罚你们。”

大卫出去迎见他们，对他们说：“你们若是存着和平的心到我这里来帮助我，我就与你们结盟，但你们若是把我这无辜的人出卖给我的敌人，就愿我们列祖的神鉴察和审判。”

大闢出迓、告曰、如爾心懷平康、欲來助我、則我與爾和好。如欲欺我、付無辜於敵手、則望列祖之上帝、加以督責。

大衛出迎、謂之曰、爾來意若平善、欲助我、則我願與爾結盟、如欲欺我、將我無辜者付於敵手、願我列祖之天主、鑒察加責、

David went out to meet them and said to them,“ If you have come to me in peace to help me, I am ready for you to join me. But if you have come to betray me to my enemies when my hands are free from violence, may the God of our ancestors see it and judge you.”

David went out to meet them. He said to them,“ Have you come to me in peace? Have you come to help me? If you have, I’m ready for you to join me. But suppose you have come to hand me over to my enemies when I haven’t even harmed anyone. Then may the God of our people see it and judge you.”

David went out to meet them and said to them,“ If you have come to me in friendship to help me, my heart will be joined to you; but if to betray me to my adversaries, although there is no wrong in my hands, then may the God of our fathers see and rebuke you.”

David went out to meet them and said,“ If you have come in peace to help me, we are friends. But if you have come to betray me to my enemies when I am innocent, then may the God of our ancestors see it and punish you.”

David went out to meet them and said to them,“ If you have come in peace to help me, my heart will be united with you, but if you have come to betray me to my enemies even though my hands have done no wrong, may the God of our ancestors look on it and judge.”

David went out to meet them, and said to them,“ If you come peacefully to help me, my heart shall be united with you; but if to betray me to my enemies, since there is no wrong in my hands, may the God of our fathers look on it and decide.”

And David went out to meet them, and answered and said to them,“ If you have come peaceably to me to help me, my heart will be united with you; but if to betray me to my enemies, since there is no wrong in my hands, may the God of our fathers look and bring judgment.”

And David went out to meet them, and answered and said unto them, If ye be come peaceably unto me to help me, my heart shall be knit unto you; but if ye be come to betray me to mine adversaries, seeing there is no wrong in my hands, the God of our fathers look thereon, and rebuke it.

David went out to meet them and said to them,“ If you have come in peace to help me, my heart will be united with you, but if you have come to betray me to my enemies even though my hands have done no wrong, may the God of our ancestors look on it and judge.”

And David went out to meet them, and answered and said unto them, If ye be come peaceably unto me to help me, mine heart shall be knit unto you: but if[ ye be come] to betray me to mine enemies, seeing[ there is] no wrong in mine hands, the God of our fathers look[ thereon], and rebuke[ it].

David went out to meet them and said,“ If you come to me in peace and want to help me, then I will make an alliance with you. But if you come to betray me to my enemies when I have not harmed you, may the God of our ancestors take notice and judge!”

David went out to meet them, and answered them,“ If you have come peaceably to me to help me, my heart will be united with you; but if you have come to betray me to my adversaries, since there is no wrong in my hands, may the God of our fathers see this and rebuke it.”

永恆主啊，求你以義忿起來，挺身而立，抵擋我敵人的暴怒。求你為我而奮發，以行你所命定的審判。

押尼珥到了希伯崙來見大衛；跟他同去的有二十人；大衛為押尼珥和跟隨押尼珥的人擺設筵席。押尼珥對大衛說：『我要起身去集合以色列眾人來見我主我王，和你立約；你就可以照心願來掌王權』；於是大衛把押尼珥送走，押尼珥就安安然然去了。大衛的臣僕和約押襲擊了敵軍回來，帶來了許多掠物；那時押尼珥不同大衛一起在希伯崙，因為大衛已經把他送走，他也安安然然去了。這時約押和跟隨的全軍回來，就有人告訴約押說：『尼珥的兒子押尼珥來見王，王把他送走，他也安安然然去了。』約押就進去見王說：『你幹了甚麼事了？你看，押尼珥來見你，你為甚麼把他送走，讓他走掉了呢？你要曉得尼珥的兒子押尼珥來、無非是要詐騙你，要知道你的出入，曉得你一切所行的罷了。』

耶戶從那裏往前行，遇見利甲的兒子約拿答來迎接他；耶戶向他祝福請安，問他說：『你的心對我是不是忠正，像我的心對你那麼忠正呢？』約拿答回答說：『是的。』耶戶說：『既是這樣，就請你舉手起誓』；他就舉手起誓；耶戶便拉他上車。

今天永恆主將王交在我手裏，我卻不情願伸手來害永恆主所膏立的；永恆主總必照各人的正義和忠信來還報各人。看哪，我今天怎樣看你的性命為寶貴，願永恆主也怎樣看我的性命為寶貴，而援救我脫離一切患難。』

不過你們作公民、總要對得起基督的福音，使我或者來、而見着你們，或者不在一起、而是只聽見你們的情形，得知你們都有一樣的精神站穩，一心一意為福音的信仰而共同競鬥，

願亞伯拉罕的上帝和拿鶴的上帝，他們父親的上帝，在我們之間判斷是非。』雅各就指着他父親以撒所敬畏的來起誓。

弟兄們，我憑着我們主耶穌基督的名勸你們要說一致的話，不要有分裂之爭在你們中間，只要用一致的心思一致的意見、大家聯結。

永恆主啊，將你的道路指教我怎樣憑你的忠信而行；求你使我以專一的心敬畏你的名。

約蘭一見耶戶、就說：『耶戶啊，平安麼？』耶戶說：『甚麼呀？你母親耶洗別的淫行和邪術這麼多、還有平安麼？』

我父請看，看你外袍的衣邊居然在我手中呢；我既把你外袍的衣邊割下來，又沒有殺害你，那你總可以知道、總可以看清楚、我手中並沒有謀害或背叛了罷。我沒有得罪了你，你竟獵取我的性命要了結它。願永恆主在你我之間判斷是非；願永恆主從你身上為我伸冤；我手卻不加害於你。正如古人的俗語說：「惡事出於惡人」；我手卻不加害於你。以色列王出來要追捕誰呢？你要追趕誰呢？不過一條死狗、一隻虼蚤罷了。願永恆主申張正義、在你我之間判斷是非，並且鑒察，為我的案件而伸訴，維護正義而救我脫離你的手。』大衛向掃羅說完了這些話，掃羅就說：『我兒大衛，這是你的聲音麼？』掃羅放聲而哭；對大衛說：『你比我正義；你以善報我，我卻以惡報你。

我必使他們有同一的心和同一的行徑，好叫他們日日不斷地敬畏我，使他們和他們以後的子孫都得到福樂。

撒母耳便照永恆主所吩咐的話去行。他到了伯利恆，那城的長老都戰戰兢兢地迎接他，說：『你來平安麼？』

天使長米迦勒跟魔鬼爭辯、為摩西的身體而辯論時、尚且不敢加以毁謗之定罪，只說：『願主責備你』。

永恆主啊，求你拯救，因為堅貞之愛斷絕了，人類間的忠信都不見了。人人跟鄰舍說虛謊話；他們說話、是嘴脣油滑、存兩樣心的。

哈及的兒子亞多尼雅去見所羅門的母親拔示巴；拔示巴問他說：『你是存着和平的意思來麼？』他回答說：『是存着和平的意思。』

約拿單和大衛結盟，因為約拿單愛大衛如同愛自己的性命。

若不是我父親的上帝，亞伯拉罕的上帝，以撒所敬畏的，與我同在，你如今必定打發我空手回去的。但是我的苦情和我親手所勞碌的，上帝都看見了，所以他昨夜指正你。』

大衛對掃羅說完了話，約拿單的心和大衛的心就連結在一起；約拿單愛大衛、如同愛自己的性命。

那一羣信眾都一心一意；沒有一個人說他的資財有一樣是自己的；他們的東西都大家共有。

他受辱罵，也不回罵，受苦也不說恐嚇的話，卻交託那按公義審判的主。

永恆主對撒但說：『撒但哪，永恆主叱責你！那揀選了耶路撒冷的永恆主叱責你！這不是從火中搶救出來的一根柴麼？』

末了、弟兄們，願你們喜樂！你們要追求完全；要受鼓勵；要存着同樣的意念；要與人和睦；那麼賜愛與和平的上帝就與你們同在。
