1148:1 [See Ps. 147:20above] Praise the Lord!

Praise the Lord148:1 [ver. 7]; See Ps. 69:34from the heavens;

praise him 148:1 Matt. 21:9in the heights!

2Praise him, all his angels;

praise him, all his 148:2 See Ps. 103:20, 21hosts!

3Praise him, sun and moon,

praise him, all you shining stars!

4Praise him, you 148:4 Ps. 68:33; Deut. 10:14; Neh. 9:6; See 1 Kgs. 8:27highest heavens,

and you 148:4 Gen. 1:7waters above the heavens!

5148:5 ver. 13Let them praise the name of the Lord!

creeping things and 148:10 Gen. 1:20, 21flying birds!

11Kings of the earth and 148:11 [Rev. 7:9]all peoples,

princes and all rulers of the earth!

12Young men and maidens together,

old men and children!

13148:13 ver. 5Let them praise the name of the Lord,

for 148:13 Ps. 8:1his name alone is exalted;

148:13 See Ps. 113:4his majesty is above earth and heaven.

14He has 148:14 See 1 Sam. 2:1raised up a horn for his people,

148:14 [Deut. 10:21; Jer. 17:14] praise for all his saints,

for the people of Israel who are 148:14 Deut. 4:7; Eph. 2:17near to him.
