A Psalm of David.

1Hear my prayer, O Lord;

143:1 Ps. 140:6give ear to my pleas for mercy!

2143:2 [Job 14:3] Enter not into judgment with your servant,

3For the enemy has pursued my soul;

my heart within me is appalled.

I ponder the work of your hands.
