Job 第26章
Job Replies: God’s Majesty Is Unsearchable
1Then Job answered and said:
2“How you have 26:2 Isa. 40:29helped him who has no power!
How you have saved 26:2 Gen. 49:24; Hos. 7:15the arm that has no strength!
and plentifully declared sound knowledge!
4With whose help have you uttered words,
and whose breath 26:4 Gen. 2:7has come out from you?
under the waters and their inhabitants.
and 26:6 Rev. 9:11Abaddon has no covering.
and hangs the earth on nothing.
8He 26:8 Prov. 30:4binds up the waters in his thick clouds,
and the cloud is not split open under them.
9He covers the face of the full moon26:9 Or his throne
and 26:9 [ch. 36:29]spreads over it his cloud.
10He has inscribed 26:10 Prov. 8:29; [ch. 38:8-11; Ps. 33:7; Jer. 5:22]a circle on the face of the waters
at the boundary between light and darkness.
and are astounded at his 26:11 Ps. 104:7rebuke.
12By his power he 26:12 Isa. 51:15; Jer. 31:35stilled the sea;
by his understanding he shattered 26:12 See ch. 9:13Rahab.
his hand pierced 26:13 Isa. 27:1the fleeing serpent.
and how small 26:14 ch. 4:12a whisper do we hear of him!
But the thunder of his power who can understand?”
