Exodus 第15章
The Song of Moses
1Then Moses and the people of Israel 15:1 Ps. 106:12; [Judg. 5:1; 2 Sam. 22:1] sang this song to the Lord, saying,
15:1 ver. 21“I will sing to the Lord, for he has triumphed gloriously;
the horse and his rider15:1 Or its chariot; also verse 21 he has thrown into the sea.
this is my God, and I will praise him,
15:2 ch. 3:6, 15, 16my father’s God, and 15:2 2 Sam. 22:47; Ps. 34:3; 99:5, 9; 118:28; 145:1; Isa. 25:1I will exalt him.
and his chosen 15:4 ch. 14:7officers were sunk in the Red Sea.
they 15:5 Neh. 9:11went down into the depths like a stone.
7In the 15:7 Deut. 33:26greatness of your majesty you overthrow your adversaries;
8At the 15:8 ch. 14:21, 22; 2 Sam. 22:16; Job 4:9; Ps. 18:15; [2 Thess. 2:8] blast of your nostrils the waters piled up;
the 15:8 Ps. 78:13; [Josh. 3:16; Hab. 3:10]floods stood up in a heap;
the deeps congealed in the heart of the sea.
I 15:9 Gen. 49:27; Judg. 5:30; Isa. 53:12; Luke 11:22will divide the spoil, my desire shall have its fill of them.
I will draw my sword; my hand shall destroy them.’
they sank like lead in the mighty waters.
1115:11 Deut. 3:24; 1 Sam. 2:2; 2 Sam. 7:22; 1 Kgs. 8:23; 2 Chr. 6:14; Jer. 10:6“Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods?
Who is like you, majestic in holiness,
the earth swallowed them.
you have 15:13 Ps. 78:54guided them by your strength to your holy abode.
1415:14 Num. 14:14; Deut. 2:25; Josh. 2:9, 10; 9:24The peoples have heard; they tremble;
pangs have seized the inhabitants of Philistia.
trembling seizes the leaders of 15:15 Num. 22:3Moab;
16Terror and 15:16 Deut. 2:25; 11:25dread fall upon them;
because of the greatness of your arm, they are still 15:16 1 Sam. 25:37as a stone,
till your people, O Lord, pass by,
till the people pass by whom 15:16 Ps. 74:2; [1 Pet. 2:9]you have purchased.
17You will bring them in and 15:17 Ps. 44:2; 80:8; [Jer. 32:41] plant them on your own mountain,
the place, O Lord, which you have made for your abode,
19For when 15:19 ch. 14:23the horses of Pharaoh with his chariots and his horsemen went into the sea, 15:19 ch. 14:28, 29the Lord brought back the waters of the sea upon them, but the people of Israel walked on dry ground in the midst of the sea.
20Then 15:20 Mic. 6:4Miriam 15:20 [Judg. 4:4; 2 Kgs. 22:14; Neh. 6:14; Luke 2:36] the prophetess, the 15:20 ch. 2:4; Num. 26:59sister of Aaron, took a tambourine in her hand, and 15:20 Judg. 11:34; 1 Sam. 18:6; Ps. 68:25; 149:3; 150:4all the women went out after her with tambourines and dancing.
21And Miriam sang to them:
15:21 ver. 1“Sing to the Lord, for he has triumphed gloriously;
the horse and his rider he has thrown into the sea.”
Bitter Water Made Sweet
22Then Moses made Israel set out from the Red Sea, and they went into the wilderness of 15:22 Gen. 16:7; 25:18; 1 Sam. 15:7Shur. They went three days in the wilderness and found no water.
23When they came to 15:23 [Ruth 1:20]Marah, they could not drink the water of Marah because it was bitter; therefore it was named Marah.15:23 Marah means bitterness
25And he 15:25 ch. 14:10; 17:4cried to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a log,15:25 Or tree and he 15:25 [2 Kgs. 2:21; 4:41] threw it into the water, and the water became sweet.
There the Lord15:25 Hebrew he made for them a statute and a rule, and there he 15:25 ch. 16:4; Deut. 8:2, 16; Judg. 2:22; 3:1, 4; Ps. 66:10tested them,
26saying, 15:26 See Lev. 26:3-13; Deut. 7:12-15“If you will diligently listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and do that which is right in his eyes, and give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the 15:26 Deut. 28:27, 60diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, 15:26 ch. 23:25; Ps. 103:3; 147:3; Hos. 6:1your healer.”
