Amos 第6章
Woe to Those at Ease in Zion
16:1 Isa. 32:9; Zeph. 1:12; Luke 6:24; James 5:1“Woe to those who are at ease in Zion,
6:1 [Ezek. 22:6] the notable men of 6:1 See Ex. 19:5the first of the nations,
to whom the house of Israel comes!
2Pass over to 6:2 Gen. 10:10; Isa. 10:9Calneh, and see,
and from there go to 6:2 1 Kgs. 8:65; 2 Kgs. 18:34; Isa. 10:9Hamath the great;
then go down to 6:2 See 1 Sam. 17:4Gath of the Philistines.
6:2 [Nah. 3:8]Are you better than these kingdoms?
Or is their territory greater than your territory,
36:3 [ch. 9:10; Ezek. 12:27] O you who put far away the day of disaster
6:3 See ch. 3:10and bring near the seat of violence?
6:4 [ch. 3:12] and stretch themselves out on their couches,
and eat lambs from the flock
6:4 [James 5:5]and calves from the midst of the stall,
and like David 6:5 See ch. 5:23invent for themselves instruments of music,
and 6:6 [Dan. 10:3]anoint themselves with the finest oils,
but are not grieved over the ruin of Joseph!
and the revelry of those who stretch themselves out shall pass away.”
and hate his strongholds,
6:8 [Jer. 17:3]and I will deliver up the city and all that is in it.”
10And when one’s relative, 6:10 See 1 Sam. 31:12the one who anoints him for burial, shall take him up to bring the bones out of the house, and shall say to him who is in the innermost parts of the house, “Is there still anyone with you?” he shall say, “No”; and he shall say, 6:10 [ch. 5:13; 8:3]“Silence! We must not mention the name of the Lord.”
11For behold, the Lord commands,
and 6:11 [ch. 3:15]the great house shall be struck down into fragments,
and the little house into bits.
12Do horses run on rocks?
Does one plow there6:12 Or the sea with oxen?
6:12 [ch. 5:7] But you have turned justice into 6:12 Deut. 29:18poison
6:12 [ch. 5:7] and the fruit of righteousness into wormwood6:12 Or into bitter fruit—
13you who rejoice in Lo-debar,6:13 Lo-debar means nothing
who say, 6:13 [1 Kgs. 22:11; Mic. 4:13]“Have we not by our own strength
captured Karnaim6:13 Karnaim means horns (a symbol of strength) for ourselves?”
O house of Israel,” declares the Lord, the God of hosts;
“and they shall oppress you from 6:14 2 Kgs. 14:25Lebo-hamath
to the Brook of 6:14 See Deut. 1:1the Arabah.”
