Sie mussten die Steine und Balken, mit denen König Bascha die Stadt Rama befestigen wollte, wieder wegtragen. Asa ließ mit dem Baumaterial die Städte Geba in Benjamin und Mizpa ausbauen.
Jeremia 37:13 - Am Benjamintor hielt ihn der wachhabende Offizier Jirija an, der Sohn von Schelemja und Enkel von Hananja. »Du willst zu den Babyloniern überlaufen«, beschuldigte er ihn.
Sacharja 12:6 - An jenem Tag mache ich Judas Anführer für ihre Feinde zu einer Schale voll glühender Kohlen, die mitten in einem Holzhaufen steht. So wie eine brennende Fackel Stroh in Flammen aufgehen lässt, so werden sie die feindlichen Völker zu allen Seiten vernichten. Jerusalem aber bleibt unversehrt an seinem Ort bestehen.
