Joshua 5:13 - When Joshua was near Jericho, he looked up and saw a man standing in front of him. The man was holding a sword. He was ready for battle. Joshua went up to him. He asked, “Are you on our side? Or are you on the side of our enemies?”
Isaiah 55:13 - Juniper trees will grow where there used to be bushes that had thorns on them. And myrtle trees will grow where there used to be thorns. That will bring me great fame. It will be a lasting reminder of what I can do. It will stand forever.”
Isaiah 41:19 - I will make trees grow in the desert. I will plant cedar and acacia trees there. I will plant myrtle and olive trees there. I will make juniper trees grow in the dry and empty desert. I will plant fir and cypress trees there.
Zechariah 13:7 - “My sword, wake up! Attack my shepherd! Attack the man who is close to me,” announces the Lord who rules over all. “Strike down the shepherd. Then the sheep will be scattered. And I will turn my hand against their little ones.
Zechariah 6:2 - The first chariot was pulled by red horses. The second one had black horses.
Zechariah 6:3 - The third had white horses. And the fourth had spotted horses. All the horses were powerful.
Zechariah 6:4 - I asked the angel who was talking with me, “Sir, what are these?”
Zechariah 6:5 - The angel answered, “The four spirits of heaven. They are going out to serve the Lord of the whole world.
Zechariah 6:6 - The chariot pulled by the black horses is going toward the north country. The one with the white horses is going toward the west. And the one with the spotted horses is going toward the south.”
Zechariah 6:7 - The powerful horses went out. They were in a hurry to go all over the earth. The angel said, “Go all through the earth!” So they did.
Revelation 6:4 - Another horse came out. It was red like fire. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth. He was given power to make people kill each other. He was given a large sword.
