2 Chronicles 29:4 - He summoned the priests and Levites to meet him at the courtyard east of the Temple.
2 Chronicles 29:5 - He said to them, “Listen to me, you Levites! Purify yourselves, and purify the Temple of the Lord, the God of your ancestors. Remove all the defiled things from the sanctuary.

2 Kings 23:4 - Then the king instructed Hilkiah the high priest and the priests of the second rank and the Temple gatekeepers to remove from the Lord’s Temple all the articles that were used to worship Baal, Asherah, and all the powers of the heavens. The king had all these things burned outside Jerusalem on the terraces of the Kidron Valley, and he carried the ashes away to Bethel.
2 Chronicles 29:30 - King Hezekiah and the officials ordered the Levites to praise the Lord with the psalms written by David and by Asaph the seer. So they offered joyous praise and bowed down in worship.
Nehemiah 13:31 - I also made sure that the supply of wood for the altar and the first portions of the harvest were brought at the proper times. Remember this in my favor, O my God.
Nehemiah 12:30 - The priests and Levites first purified themselves; then they purified the people, the gates, and the wall.
Nehemiah 13:14 - Remember this good deed, O my God, and do not forget all that I have faithfully done for the Temple of my God and its services.
