Jeremiah 21:8 - “Furthermore, tell the people, ‘This is what the Lord says: See, I am setting before you the way of life and the way of death.
Jeremiah 21:9 - Whoever stays in this city will die by the sword, famine or plague. But whoever goes out and surrenders to the Babylonians who are besieging you will live; they will escape with their lives.
Jeremiah 21:10 - I have determined to do this city harm and not good, declares the Lord. It will be given into the hands of the king of Babylon, and he will destroy it with fire.’
Jeremiah 21:11 - “Moreover, say to the royal house of Judah, ‘Hear the word of the Lord.
Jeremiah 21:12 - This is what the Lord says to you, house of David: “ ‘Administer justice every morning; rescue from the hand of the oppressor the one who has been robbed, or my wrath will break out and burn like fire because of the evil you have done— burn with no one to quench it.
Jeremiah 21:13 - I am against you, Jerusalem, you who live above this valley on the rocky plateau, declares the Lord— you who say, “Who can come against us? Who can enter our refuge?”
Jeremiah 21:14 - I will punish you as your deeds deserve, declares the Lord. I will kindle a fire in your forests that will consume everything around you.’ ”

John 1:42 - And he brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, “You are Simon son of John. You will be called Cephas” (which, when translated, is Peter ).
Jeremiah 38:18 - But if you will not surrender to the officers of the king of Babylon, this city will be given into the hands of the Babylonians and they will burn it down; you yourself will not escape from them.’ ”
Jeremiah 34:3 - You will not escape from his grasp but will surely be captured and given into his hands. You will see the king of Babylon with your own eyes, and he will speak with you face to face. And you will go to Babylon.
Jeremiah 21:4 - ‘This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: I am about to turn against you the weapons of war that are in your hands, which you are using to fight the king of Babylon and the Babylonians who are outside the wall besieging you. And I will gather them inside this city.
Jeremiah 21:5 - I myself will fight against you with an outstretched hand and a mighty arm in furious anger and in great wrath.
Jeremiah 21:6 - I will strike down those who live in this city—both man and beast—and they will die of a terrible plague.
Jeremiah 21:7 - After that, declares the Lord, I will give Zedekiah king of Judah, his officials and the people in this city who survive the plague, sword and famine, into the hands of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and to their enemies who want to kill them. He will put them to the sword; he will show them no mercy or pity or compassion.’
Jeremiah 21:8 - “Furthermore, tell the people, ‘This is what the Lord says: See, I am setting before you the way of life and the way of death.
Jeremiah 21:9 - Whoever stays in this city will die by the sword, famine or plague. But whoever goes out and surrenders to the Babylonians who are besieging you will live; they will escape with their lives.
Jeremiah 21:10 - I have determined to do this city harm and not good, declares the Lord. It will be given into the hands of the king of Babylon, and he will destroy it with fire.’
Jeremiah 21:11 - “Moreover, say to the royal house of Judah, ‘Hear the word of the Lord.
Jeremiah 21:12 - This is what the Lord says to you, house of David: “ ‘Administer justice every morning; rescue from the hand of the oppressor the one who has been robbed, or my wrath will break out and burn like fire because of the evil you have done— burn with no one to quench it.
Jeremiah 21:13 - I am against you, Jerusalem, you who live above this valley on the rocky plateau, declares the Lord— you who say, “Who can come against us? Who can enter our refuge?”
Jeremiah 21:14 - I will punish you as your deeds deserve, declares the Lord. I will kindle a fire in your forests that will consume everything around you.’ ”
Jeremiah 26:12 - Then Jeremiah said to all the officials and all the people: “The Lord sent me to prophesy against this house and this city all the things you have heard.
Jeremiah 26:13 - Now reform your ways and your actions and obey the Lord your God. Then the Lord will relent and not bring the disaster he has pronounced against you.
Jeremiah 26:14 - As for me, I am in your hands; do with me whatever you think is good and right.
Jeremiah 26:15 - Be assured, however, that if you put me to death, you will bring the guilt of innocent blood on yourselves and on this city and on those who live in it, for in truth the Lord has sent me to you to speak all these words in your hearing.”
Jeremiah 37:7 - “This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: Tell the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of me, ‘Pharaoh’s army, which has marched out to support you, will go back to its own land, to Egypt.
Jeremiah 34:20 - I will deliver into the hands of their enemies who want to kill them. Their dead bodies will become food for the birds and the wild animals.
Jeremiah 34:21 - “I will deliver Zedekiah king of Judah and his officials into the hands of their enemies who want to kill them, to the army of the king of Babylon, which has withdrawn from you.
Jeremiah 34:22 - I am going to give the order, declares the Lord, and I will bring them back to this city. They will fight against it, take it and burn it down. And I will lay waste the towns of Judah so no one can live there.”
Jeremiah 36:27 - After the king burned the scroll containing the words that Baruch had written at Jeremiah’s dictation, the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah:
Jeremiah 36:28 - “Take another scroll and write on it all the words that were on the first scroll, which Jehoiakim king of Judah burned up.
Jeremiah 36:29 - Also tell Jehoiakim king of Judah, ‘This is what the Lord says: You burned that scroll and said, “Why did you write on it that the king of Babylon would certainly come and destroy this land and wipe from it both man and beast?”
Jeremiah 36:30 - Therefore this is what the Lord says about Jehoiakim king of Judah: He will have no one to sit on the throne of David; his body will be thrown out and exposed to the heat by day and the frost by night.
Jeremiah 36:31 - I will punish him and his children and his attendants for their wickedness; I will bring on them and those living in Jerusalem and the people of Judah every disaster I pronounced against them, because they have not listened.’ ”
Jeremiah 36:32 - So Jeremiah took another scroll and gave it to the scribe Baruch son of Neriah, and as Jeremiah dictated, Baruch wrote on it all the words of the scroll that Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire. And many similar words were added to them.
Jeremiah 42:22 - So now, be sure of this: You will die by the sword, famine and plague in the place where you want to go to settle.”
Jeremiah 38:2 - “This is what the Lord says: ‘Whoever stays in this city will die by the sword, famine or plague, but whoever goes over to the Babylonians will live. They will escape with their lives; they will live.’
Micah 3:8 - But as for me, I am filled with power, with the Spirit of the Lord, and with justice and might, to declare to Jacob his transgression, to Israel his sin.
Micah 3:9 - Hear this, you leaders of Jacob, you rulers of Israel, who despise justice and distort all that is right;
Jeremiah 6:27 - “I have made you a tester of metals and my people the ore, that you may observe and test their ways.
Jeremiah 15:20 - I will make you a wall to this people, a fortified wall of bronze; they will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you to rescue and save you,” declares the Lord.
Ezekiel 3:8 - But I will make you as unyielding and hardened as they are.
Ezekiel 3:9 - I will make your forehead like the hardest stone, harder than flint. Do not be afraid of them or terrified by them, though they are a rebellious people.”
Isaiah 50:7 - Because the Sovereign Lord helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore have I set my face like flint, and I know I will not be put to shame.
