  • Hosea 4:7 - The more they multiplied [in numbers and increased in power], the more they sinned against Me; I will change their glory into shame.
  • Jeremiah 3:24 - “But the shameful act [of idolatry] has consumed the labor of our fathers since our youth—their flocks and their herds, their sons and their daughters.

  • Daniel 11:8 - Also he will carry off to Egypt their [Syrian] gods with their cast images and their precious and costly treasure of silver and of gold, and he will refrain from waging war against the king of the North for some years.
