  • Exodus 24:16 - Yahweh’s glory settled on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days. The seventh day he called to Moses out of the middle of the cloud.
  • Exodus 24:17 - The appearance of Yahweh’s glory was like devouring fire on the top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel.
  • Psalms 78:70 - He also chose David his servant, and took him from the sheepfolds;

  • Exodus 18:5 - Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law, came with Moses’ sons and his wife to Moses into the wilderness where he was encamped, at the Mountain of God.
  • Exodus 18:6 - He said to Moses, “I, your father-in-law Jethro, have come to you with your wife, and her two sons with her.”
  • Exodus 19:3 - Moses went up to God, and Yahweh called to him out of the mountain, saying, “This is what you shall tell the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel:
  • Matthew 4:18 - Walking by the sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers: Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew, his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen.
  • Matthew 4:19 - He said to them, “Come after me, and I will make you fishers for men.”

  • Judges 4:11 - Now Heber the Kenite had separated himself from the Kenites, even from the children of Hobab, Moses’ brother-in-law, and had pitched his tent as far as the oak in Zaanannim, which is by Kedesh.
  • Exodus 17:6 - Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock in Horeb. You shall strike the rock, and water will come out of it, that the people may drink.” Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.
  • Numbers 10:29 - Moses said to Hobab, the son of Reuel the Midianite, Moses’ father-in-law, “We are journeying to the place of which Yahweh said, ‘I will give it to you.’ Come with us, and we will treat you well; for Yahweh has spoken good concerning Israel.”
  • 1 Kings 19:8 - He arose, and ate and drank, and went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights to Horeb, God’s Mountain.
