Deuteronomy 25:17 - “Never forget what the Amalekites did to you as you came from Egypt.
Deuteronomy 25:18 - They attacked you when you were exhausted and weary, and they struck down those who were straggling behind. They had no fear of God.
Deuteronomy 25:19 - Therefore, when the Lord your God has given you rest from all your enemies in the land he is giving you as a special possession, you must destroy the Amalekites and erase their memory from under heaven. Never forget this!
1 Samuel 15:7 - Then Saul slaughtered the Amalekites from Havilah all the way to Shur, east of Egypt.

2 Samuel 1:14 - “Why were you not afraid to kill the Lord’s anointed one?” David asked.
2 Samuel 1:15 - Then David said to one of his men, “Kill him!” So the man thrust his sword into the Amalekite and killed him.
2 Samuel 1:16 - “You have condemned yourself,” David said, “for you yourself confessed that you killed the Lord’s anointed one.”
Ezra 9:14 - But even so, we are again breaking your commands and intermarrying with people who do these detestable things. Won’t your anger be enough to destroy us, so that even this little remnant no longer survives?

1 Samuel 30:1 - Three days later, when David and his men arrived home at their town of Ziklag, they found that the Amalekites had made a raid into the Negev and Ziklag; they had crushed Ziklag and burned it to the ground.
1 Samuel 30:17 - David and his men rushed in among them and slaughtered them throughout that night and the entire next day until evening. None of the Amalekites escaped except 400 young men who fled on camels.
