Die Bewohner der eroberten Gebiete verschleppte er nach Assyrien.
Hesekiel 47:15 - Die Nordgrenze des Landes verläuft vom Mittelmeer ostwärts in Richtung der Städte Hetlon, Lebo-Hamat und Zedad,
Hesekiel 47:16 - dann weiter nach Berota und Sibrajim, das an der Grenze zwischen dem Herrschaftsbereich von Damaskus und dem von Hamat liegt. Dann führt sie zur Stadt Hazar-Enan am Rand des Haurangebirges.
Hesekiel 47:17 - Nördlich dieser Linie vom Mittelmeer bis nach Hazar-Enan liegt der Herrschaftsbereich von Damaskus und von Hamat.
Jesaja 10:5 - »Wehe den Assyrern!«, ruft der Herr. »Noch gebrauche ich sie als Stock, mit dem ich mein Volk bestrafe. Mein grimmiger Zorn gegen Israel treibt die Assyrer an.

Jesaja 8:5 - Weiter sagte der Herr zu mir:
Jesaja 8:6 - »Dieses Volk verachtet das ruhig fließende Wasser des Siloahkanals in Jerusalem. Sie sind voller Schadenfreude über das, was mit Rezin und Pekach passiert.
Jesaja 8:7 - Deshalb hetze ich den König von Assyrien auf sie, er wird mit seinem gewaltigen Heer ins Land einfallen. So wie der Euphrat bei Hochwasser zu einem reißenden Strom anschwillt und über die Ufer tritt,
Jesaja 8:8 - so wird sich dieses Heer auf Juda zuwälzen und das Land überfluten. Das Wasser wird dem Volk bis zum Hals stehen. Dein ganzes Land, Immanuel, wird von ihnen bedeckt sein.«
Jesaja 7:20 - Dann wird der Herr den assyrischen König von der anderen Seite des Euphrat ins Land holen und als ›Rasiermesser‹ benutzen. Er wird euch die Haare am Kopf und am ganzen Körper abrasieren, selbst den Bart schneidet er ab, so dass ihr in Schimpf und Schande dasteht.
Hosea 10:5 - Die Einwohner von Samaria werden sich Sorgen machen um das goldene Kalb von Bet-Awen. Das Volk wird trauern, und die Götzenpriester werden jammern, wenn es mit all seiner Pracht von dort weggeführt wird.
Jeremia 5:15 - Hört, ihr Israeliten, ich sorge dafür, dass ein Volk von weit her kommt und in euer Land einfällt. Das Volk ist sehr viel älter als ihr, es ist unbezwingbar, und seine Sprache versteht ihr nicht.
Jeremia 5:16 - Seine Bogenschützen treffen mit tödlicher Sicherheit, und die Soldaten sind alle erfahrene Kämpfer.
Jeremia 5:17 - Dieses Volk wird eure Ernte und eure Vorräte vernichten, eure Söhne und Töchter töten, eure Schafe und Rinder schlachten und eure Weinstöcke und Feigenbäume umhauen. Eure befestigten Städte, auf die ihr euch verlasst, wird es blutig erobern.
2. Könige 14:25 - Jerobeam konnte alle Gebiete zurückerobern, die früher zu Israel gehört hatten, von Lebo-Hamat bis ans Tote Meer. Damit erfüllte sich, was der Herr, der Gott Israels, angekündigt hatte. Durch seinen Diener, den Propheten Jona aus Gat-Hefer, einen Sohn von Amittai , hatte er es den Israeliten vorausgesagt.
1. Könige 8:65 - Vierzehn Tage lang feierten König Salomo und die Israeliten: in der ersten Woche die Einweihung des Tempels und in der zweiten Woche das Laubhüttenfest. Sehr viele Israeliten nahmen daran teil. Von weit her waren sie nach Jerusalem gekommen, vom äußersten Norden des Landes aus Lebo-Hamat bis zu dem Bach, der im Süden die Grenze nach Ägypten bildet.
