Acts 23:20 - He said, “Some Jews have agreed to ask you to bring Paul to the Sanhedrin tomorrow. They will pretend they want more facts about him.
Acts 23:21 - Don’t give in to them. More than 40 of them are waiting in hiding to attack him. They have promised that they will not eat or drink anything until they have killed him. They are ready now. All they need is for you to bring Paul to the Sanhedrin.”
Acts 23:22 - The commanding officer let the young man go. But he gave him a warning. “Don’t tell anyone you have reported this to me,” he said.
Romans 10:15 - And how can anyone preach without being sent? It is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” ( Isaiah 52:7 )

Deuteronomy 13:7 - They are the gods of the nations around you. Those nations might be near or far away. In fact, they might reach from one end of the land to the other.
Deuteronomy 13:8 - Don’t give in to those who are tempting you. Don’t listen to them. Don’t feel sorry for them. Don’t spare them or save them.
Romans 3:19 - What the law says, it says to those who are ruled by the law. Its purpose is to shut every mouth and make the whole world accountable to God.
2 Kings 6:32 - Elisha was sitting in his house. The elders were sitting there with him. The king went to see Elisha. He sent a messenger on ahead of him. Before the messenger arrived, Elisha spoke to the elders. He said, “That murderer is sending someone here to cut off my head. Can’t you see that? When the messenger comes, close the door. Hold it shut against him. Can’t you hear his master’s footsteps right behind him?”
Psalm 78:56 - But they tested God. They refused to obey the Most High God. They didn’t keep his laws.
Psalm 95:8 - He says, “Don’t be stubborn as you were at Meribah. Don’t be stubborn as you were that day at Massah in the desert.
Psalm 95:9 - There your people of long ago really tested me. They did it even though they had seen what I had done for them.
Psalm 95:10 - For 40 years I was angry with them. I said, ‘Their hearts are always going astray. They do not know how I want them to live.’
Psalm 95:11 - So when I was angry, I made a promise. I said, ‘They will never enjoy the rest I planned for them.’ ”
Psalm 78:18 - They were stubborn and tested God. They ordered him to give them the food they wanted.
Psalm 78:19 - They spoke against God. They said, “Can God really put food on a table in the desert?
Psalm 78:20 - It is true that he struck the rock, and streams of water poured out. Huge amounts of water flowed down. But can he also give us bread? Can he supply meat for his people?”
Psalm 78:40 - How often they refused to obey him in the desert! How often they caused him sorrow in that dry and empty land!
Psalm 78:41 - Again and again they tested God. They made the Holy One of Israel sad and angry.
Acts 5:3 - Then Peter said, “Ananias, why did you let Satan fill your heart? He made you lie to the Holy Spirit. You have kept some of the money you received for the land.
Acts 5:4 - Didn’t the land belong to you before it was sold? After it was sold, you could have used the money as you wished. What made you think of doing such a thing? You haven’t lied just to people. You’ve also lied to God.”
1 Corinthians 10:9 - We should not test the Messiah, as some of them did. They were killed by snakes.
