Isaiah 2:1 - This is a vision that Isaiah son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem:
Isaiah 2:2 - In the last days, the mountain of the Lord’s house will be the highest of all— the most important place on earth. It will be raised above the other hills, and people from all over the world will stream there to worship.
Isaiah 2:3 - People from many nations will come and say, “Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of Jacob’s God. There he will teach us his ways, and we will walk in his paths.” For the Lord’s teaching will go out from Zion; his word will go out from Jerusalem.

Isaiah 2:6 - For the Lord has rejected his people, the descendants of Jacob, because they have filled their land with practices from the East and with sorcerers, as the Philistines do. They have made alliances with pagans.
Isaiah 2:7 - Israel is full of silver and gold; there is no end to its treasures. Their land is full of warhorses; there is no end to its chariots.
Isaiah 2:8 - Their land is full of idols; the people worship things they have made with their own hands.
Isaiah 2:9 - So now they will be humbled, and all will be brought low— do not forgive them.
Isaiah 2:10 - Crawl into caves in the rocks. Hide in the dust from the terror of the Lord and the glory of his majesty.
Isaiah 2:11 - Human pride will be brought down, and human arrogance will be humbled. Only the Lord will be exalted on that day of judgment.
Isaiah 2:12 - For the Lord of Heaven’s Armies has a day of reckoning. He will punish the proud and mighty and bring down everything that is exalted.
Isaiah 2:13 - He will cut down the tall cedars of Lebanon and all the mighty oaks of Bashan.
Isaiah 2:14 - He will level all the high mountains and all the lofty hills.
Isaiah 2:15 - He will break down every high tower and every fortified wall.
Isaiah 2:16 - He will destroy all the great trading ships and every magnificent vessel.
Isaiah 2:17 - Human pride will be humbled, and human arrogance will be brought down. Only the Lord will be exalted on that day of judgment.
Isaiah 2:18 - Idols will completely disappear.
Isaiah 2:19 - When the Lord rises to shake the earth, his enemies will crawl into holes in the ground. They will hide in caves in the rocks from the terror of the Lord and the glory of his majesty.
Isaiah 2:20 - On that day of judgment they will abandon the gold and silver idols they made for themselves to worship. They will leave their gods to the rodents and bats,
Isaiah 2:21 - while they crawl away into caverns and hide among the jagged rocks in the cliffs. They will try to escape the terror of the Lord and the glory of his majesty as he rises to shake the earth.
Isaiah 2:22 - Don’t put your trust in mere humans. They are as frail as breath. What good are they?
Philippians 1:6 - And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.
1 Corinthians 1:7 - Now you have every spiritual gift you need as you eagerly wait for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 64:3 - When you came down long ago, you did awesome deeds beyond our highest expectations. And oh, how the mountains quaked!
Isaiah 64:4 - For since the world began, no ear has heard and no eye has seen a God like you, who works for those who wait for him!
Isaiah 64:5 - You welcome those who gladly do good, who follow godly ways. But you have been very angry with us, for we are not godly. We are constant sinners; how can people like us be saved?
Isaiah 64:6 - We are all infected and impure with sin. When we display our righteous deeds, they are nothing but filthy rags. Like autumn leaves, we wither and fall, and our sins sweep us away like the wind.
Isaiah 64:7 - Yet no one calls on your name or pleads with you for mercy. Therefore, you have turned away from us and turned us over to our sins.
Isaiah 64:8 - And yet, O Lord, you are our Father. We are the clay, and you are the potter. We all are formed by your hand.
Isaiah 64:9 - Don’t be so angry with us, Lord. Please don’t remember our sins forever. Look at us, we pray, and see that we are all your people.
Isaiah 64:10 - Your holy cities are destroyed. Zion is a wilderness; yes, Jerusalem is a desolate ruin.
Isaiah 64:11 - The holy and beautiful Temple where our ancestors praised you has been burned down, and all the things of beauty are destroyed.
Isaiah 64:12 - After all this, Lord, must you still refuse to help us? Will you continue to be silent and punish us?
Jude 1:21 - and await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will bring you eternal life. In this way, you will keep yourselves safe in God’s love.
Revelation 6:13 - Then the stars of the sky fell to the earth like green figs falling from a tree shaken by a strong wind.
Revelation 6:14 - The sky was rolled up like a scroll, and all of the mountains and islands were moved from their places.
2 Peter 3:7 - And by the same word, the present heavens and earth have been stored up for fire. They are being kept for the day of judgment, when ungodly people will be destroyed.

Micah 1:4 - The mountains melt beneath his feet and flow into the valleys like wax in a fire, like water pouring down a hill.
Isaiah 34:4 - The heavens above will melt away and disappear like a rolled-up scroll. The stars will fall from the sky like withered leaves from a grapevine, or shriveled figs from a fig tree.
2 Peter 3:10 - But the day of the Lord will come as unexpectedly as a thief. Then the heavens will pass away with a terrible noise, and the very elements themselves will disappear in fire, and the earth and everything on it will be found to deserve judgment.
