  • John 19:11 - “You would have no authority over me at all,” Jesus answered him, “if it hadn’t been given you from above. This is why the one who handed me over to you has the greater sin.”
  • Romans 3:19 - Now we know that whatever the law says, it speaks to those who are subject to the law, so that every mouth may be shut and the whole world may become subject to God’s judgment.
  • Romans 3:20 - For no one will be justified in his sight by the works of the law, because the knowledge of sin comes through the law.
  • Galatians 3:22 - But the Scripture imprisoned everything under sin’s power, so that the promise might be given on the basis of faith in Jesus Christ to those who believe.

  • 2 Corinthians 3:9 - For if the ministry that brought condemnation had glory, the ministry that brings righteousness overflows with even more glory.
  • Revelation 20:12 - I also saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life, and the dead were judged according to their works by what was written in the books.
  • Revelation 20:13 - Then the sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them; each one was judged according to their works.
  • Revelation 20:14 - Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.
  • Revelation 20:15 - And anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.
  • Galatians 2:16 - and yet because we know that a person is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we ourselves have believed in Christ Jesus. This was so that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no human being will be justified.
  • Galatians 2:17 - But if we ourselves are also found to be “sinners” while seeking to be justified by Christ, is Christ then a promoter of sin? Absolutely not!
  • Galatians 2:18 - If I rebuild those things that I tore down, I show myself to be a lawbreaker.
  • Galatians 2:19 - For through the law I died to the law, so that I might live for God.
  • 1 Corinthians 9:21 - To those who are without the law, like one without the law — though I am not without God’s law but under the law of Christ — to win those without the law.
  • Galatians 3:10 - For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, because it is written, Everyone who does not do everything written in the book of the law is cursed.
