  • Isaiah 14:32 - What answer will be given to the messengers from that nation? The Lord has founded Zion, and his oppressed people find refuge in her.
  • Jeremiah 31:23 - This is what the Lord of Armies, the God of Israel, says: “When I restore their fortunes, they will once again speak this word in the land of Judah and in its cities: ‘May the Lord bless you, righteous settlement, holy mountain.’
  • Isaiah 60:10 - Foreigners will rebuild your walls, and their kings will serve you. Although I struck you in my wrath, yet I will show mercy to you with my favor.
  • Isaiah 60:11 - Your city gates will always be open; they will never be shut day or night so that the wealth of the nations may be brought into you, with their kings being led in procession.
  • Isaiah 60:12 - For the nation and the kingdom that will not serve you will perish; those nations will be annihilated.
  • Isaiah 60:13 - The glory of Lebanon will come to you  — its pine, elm, and cypress together  — to beautify the place of my sanctuary, and I will glorify my dwelling place.
  • Isaiah 60:14 - The sons of your oppressors will come and bow down to you; all who reviled you will fall facedown at your feet. They will call you the City of the Lord, Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
  • Daniel 9:2 - in the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, understood from the books according to the word of the Lord to the prophet Jeremiah that the number of years for the desolation of Jerusalem would be seventy.
  • Daniel 9:3 - So I turned my attention to the Lord God to seek him by prayer and petitions, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes.
  • Daniel 9:4 - I prayed to the Lord my God and confessed: Ah, Lord — the great and awe-inspiring God who keeps his gracious covenant with those who love him and keep his commands  —
  • Daniel 9:5 - we have sinned, done wrong, acted wickedly, rebelled, and turned away from your commands and ordinances.
  • Daniel 9:6 - We have not listened to your servants the prophets, who spoke in your name to our kings, leaders, ancestors, and all the people of the land.
  • Daniel 9:7 - Lord, righteousness belongs to you, but this day public shame belongs to us: the men of Judah, the residents of Jerusalem, and all Israel — those who are near and those who are far, in all the countries where you have banished them because of the disloyalty they have shown toward you.
  • Daniel 9:8 - Lord, public shame belongs to us, our kings, our leaders, and our ancestors, because we have sinned against you.
  • Daniel 9:9 - Compassion and forgiveness belong to the Lord our God, though we have rebelled against him
  • Daniel 9:10 - and have not obeyed the Lord our God by following his instructions that he set before us through his servants the prophets.
  • Daniel 9:11 - All Israel has broken your law and turned away, refusing to obey you. The promised curse written in the law of Moses, the servant of God, has been poured out on us because we have sinned against him.
  • Daniel 9:12 - He has carried out his words that he spoke against us and against our rulers by bringing on us a disaster that is so great that nothing like what has been done to Jerusalem has ever been done under all of heaven.
  • Daniel 9:13 - Just as it is written in the law of Moses, all this disaster has come on us, yet we have not sought the favor of the Lord our God by turning from our iniquities and paying attention to your truth.
  • Daniel 9:14 - So the Lord kept the disaster in mind and brought it on us, for the Lord our God is righteous in all he has done. But we have not obeyed him.
  • Daniel 9:15 - Now, Lord our God — who brought your people out of the land of Egypt with a strong hand and made your name renowned as it is this day — we have sinned, we have acted wickedly.
  • Daniel 9:16 - Lord, in keeping with all your righteous acts, may your anger and wrath turn away from your city Jerusalem, your holy mountain; for because of our sins and the iniquities of our ancestors, Jerusalem and your people have become an object of ridicule to all those around us.
  • Daniel 9:17 - Therefore, our God, hear the prayer and the petitions of your servant. Make your face shine on your desolate sanctuary for the Lord’s sake.
  • Daniel 9:18 - Listen closely, my God, and hear. Open your eyes and see our desolations and the city that bears your name. For we are not presenting our petitions before you based on our righteous acts, but based on your abundant compassion.
  • Daniel 9:19 - Lord, hear! Lord, forgive! Lord, listen and act! My God, for your own sake, do not delay, because your city and your people bear your name.
  • Daniel 9:20 - While I was speaking, praying, confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, and presenting my petition before the Lord my God concerning the holy mountain of my God —
  • Daniel 9:21 - while I was praying, Gabriel, the man I had seen in the first vision, reached me in my extreme weariness, about the time of the evening offering.
  • Daniel 9:22 - He gave me this explanation: “Daniel, I’ve come now to give you understanding.
  • Daniel 9:23 - At the beginning of your petitions an answer went out, and I have come to give it, for you are treasured by God. So consider the message and understand the vision:
  • Daniel 9:24 - Seventy weeks are decreed about your people and your holy city — to bring the rebellion to an end, to put a stop to sin, to atone for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy place.
  • Daniel 9:25 - Know and understand this: From the issuing of the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until an Anointed One, the ruler, will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks. It will be rebuilt with a plaza and a moat, but in difficult times.
  • Daniel 9:26 - After those sixty-two weeks the Anointed One will be cut off and will have nothing. The people of the coming ruler will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end will come with a flood, and until the end there will be war; desolations are decreed.
  • Daniel 9:27 - He will make a firm covenant with many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and offering. And the abomination of desolation will be on a wing of the temple until the decreed destruction is poured out on the desolator.”
  • Revelation 11:15 - The seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven saying, The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign forever and ever.
  • Revelation 11:16 - The twenty-four elders, who were seated before God on their thrones, fell facedown and worshiped God,
  • Revelation 11:17 - saying, We give you thanks, Lord God, the Almighty, who is and who was, because you have taken your great power and have begun to reign.
  • Revelation 11:18 - The nations were angry, but your wrath has come. The time has come for the dead to be judged and to give the reward to your servants the prophets, to the saints, and to those who fear your name, both small and great, and the time has come to destroy those who destroy the earth.
  • Ezra 1:1 - In the first year of King Cyrus of Persia, in order to fulfill the word of the Lord spoken through Jeremiah, the Lord roused the spirit of King Cyrus to issue a proclamation throughout his entire kingdom and to put it in writing:
  • Ezra 1:2 - This is what King Cyrus of Persia says: “The Lord, the God of the heavens, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth and has appointed me to build him a house at Jerusalem in Judah.
  • Ezra 1:3 - Any of his people among you, may his God be with him, and may he go to Jerusalem in Judah and build the house of the Lord, the God of Israel, the God who is in Jerusalem.
  • Ezra 1:4 - Let every survivor, wherever he resides, be assisted by the men of that region with silver, gold, goods, and livestock, along with a freewill offering for the house of God in Jerusalem.”
  • Ezra 1:5 - So the family heads of Judah and Benjamin, along with the priests and Levites — everyone whose spirit God had roused  — prepared to go up and rebuild the Lord’s house in Jerusalem.
  • Ezra 1:6 - All their neighbors supported them with silver articles, gold, goods, livestock, and valuables, in addition to all that was given as a freewill offering.
  • Ezra 1:7 - King Cyrus also brought out the articles of the Lord’s house that Nebuchadnezzar had taken from Jerusalem and had placed in the house of his gods.
  • Ezra 1:8 - King Cyrus of Persia had them brought out under the supervision of Mithredath the treasurer, who counted them out to Sheshbazzar the prince of Judah.
  • Ezra 1:9 - This was the inventory: 30 gold basins, 1,000 silver basins, 29 silver knives,
  • Ezra 1:10 - 30 gold bowls, 410 various silver bowls, and 1,000 other articles.
  • Ezra 1:11 - The gold and silver articles totaled 5,400. Sheshbazzar brought all of them when the exiles went up from Babylon to Jerusalem.
  • 2 Peter 3:8 - Dear friends, don’t overlook this one fact: With the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day.
  • Acts 1:7 - He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or periods that the Father has set by his own authority.
  • 2 Peter 3:12 - as you wait for the day of God and hasten its coming. Because of that day, the heavens will be dissolved with fire and the elements will melt with heat.
  • Psalms 69:35 - for God will save Zion and build up the cities of Judah. They will live there and possess it.
  • Psalms 69:36 - The descendants of his servants will inherit it, and those who love his name will live in it.
  • Zechariah 2:10 - “Daughter Zion, shout for joy and be glad, for I am coming to dwell among you” — this is the Lord’s declaration.
  • Zechariah 2:11 - “Many nations will join themselves to the Lord on that day and become my people. I will dwell among you, and you will know that the Lord of Armies has sent me to you.
  • Zechariah 2:12 - The Lord will take possession of Judah as his portion in the Holy Land, and he will once again choose Jerusalem.
  • Psalms 44:26 - Rise up! Help us! Redeem us because of your faithful love.
  • Galatians 4:4 - When the time came to completion, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law,
  • Isaiah 60:1 - Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord shines over you.
  • Isaiah 40:2 - “Speak tenderly to Jerusalem, and announce to her that her time of hard service is over, her iniquity has been pardoned, and she has received from the Lord’s hand double for all her sins.”
