  • Matthew 23:13 - “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. For you don’t go in, and you don’t allow those entering to go in.
  • Psalms 112:9 - He distributes freely to the poor; his righteousness endures forever. His horn will be exalted in honor.
  • Deuteronomy 24:13 - Be sure to return it to him at sunset. Then he will sleep in it and bless you, and this will be counted as righteousness to you before the Lord your God.

  • Galatians 6:12 - Those who want to make a good impression in the flesh are the ones who would compel you to be circumcised  — but only to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ.
