  • Psalms 13:3 - Consider me and answer, Lord my God. Restore brightness to my eyes; otherwise, I will sleep in death.
  • Psalms 13:4 - My enemy will say, “I have triumphed over him,” and my foes will rejoice because I am shaken.

  • 2 Corinthians 7:9 - I now rejoice, not because you were grieved, but because your grief led to repentance. For you were grieved as God willed, so that you didn’t experience any loss from us.
  • 2 Corinthians 7:10 - For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret, but worldly grief produces death.
  • Revelation 21:4 - He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; grief, crying, and pain will be no more, because the previous things have passed away.
