Exodus 14:28 - The water came back and covered the chariots and horsemen, plus the entire army of Pharaoh that had gone after them into the sea. Not even one of them survived.
Exodus 14:29 - But the Israelites had walked through the sea on dry ground, with the waters like a wall to them on their right and their left.
Exodus 14:30 - That day the Lord saved Israel from the power of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the seashore.
Exodus 14:31 - When Israel saw the great power that the Lord used against the Egyptians, the people feared the Lord and believed in him and in his servant Moses.

Numbers 21:21 - Israel sent messengers to say to King Sihon of the Amorites,
Numbers 21:22 - “Let us travel through your land. We won’t go into the fields or vineyards. We won’t drink any well water. We will travel the King’s Highway until we have traveled through your territory.”
Numbers 21:23 - But Sihon would not let Israel travel through his territory. Instead, he gathered his whole army and went out to confront Israel in the wilderness. When he came to Jahaz, he fought against Israel.
Numbers 21:24 - Israel struck him with the sword and took possession of his land from the Arnon to the Jabbok, but only up to the Ammonite border, because it was fortified.
Numbers 21:25 - Israel took all the cities and lived in all these Amorite cities, including Heshbon and all its surrounding villages.
Numbers 21:26 - Heshbon was the city of King Sihon of the Amorites, who had fought against the former king of Moab and had taken control of all his land as far as the Arnon.
Numbers 21:27 - Therefore the poets say: Come to Heshbon, let it be rebuilt; let the city of Sihon be restored.
Numbers 21:28 - For fire came out of Heshbon, a flame from the city of Sihon. It consumed Ar of Moab, the citizens of Arnon’s heights.
Numbers 21:29 - Woe to you, Moab! You have been destroyed, people of Chemosh! He gave up his sons as refugees, and his daughters into captivity to Sihon the Amorite king.
Numbers 21:30 - We threw them down; Heshbon has been destroyed as far as Dibon. We caused desolation as far as Nophah, which reaches as far as Medeba.
Numbers 21:31 - So Israel lived in the Amorites’ land.
Numbers 21:32 - After Moses sent spies to Jazer, Israel captured its surrounding villages and drove out the Amorites who were there.
Numbers 21:33 - Then they turned and went up the road to Bashan, and King Og of Bashan came out against them with his whole army to do battle at Edrei.
Numbers 21:34 - But the Lord said to Moses, “Do not fear him, for I have handed him over to you along with his whole army and his land. Do to him as you did to King Sihon of the Amorites, who lived in Heshbon.”
Numbers 21:35 - So they struck him, his sons, and his whole army until no one was left, and they took possession of his land.

Exodus 14:21 - Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea. The Lord drove the sea back with a powerful east wind all that night and turned the sea into dry land. So the waters were divided,
Exodus 14:22 - and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with the waters like a wall to them on their right and their left.
Exodus 14:23 - The Egyptians set out in pursuit — all Pharaoh’s horses, his chariots, and his horsemen — and went into the sea after them.
Exodus 14:24 - During the morning watch, the Lord looked down at the Egyptian forces from the pillar of fire and cloud, and threw the Egyptian forces into confusion.
Exodus 14:25 - He caused their chariot wheels to swerve and made them drive with difficulty. “Let’s get away from Israel,” the Egyptians said, “because the Lord is fighting for them against Egypt!”
Exodus 14:26 - Then the Lord said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand over the sea so that the water may come back on the Egyptians, on their chariots and horsemen.”
Exodus 14:27 - So Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and at daybreak the sea returned to its normal depth. While the Egyptians were trying to escape from it, the Lord threw them into the sea.
Exodus 14:28 - The water came back and covered the chariots and horsemen, plus the entire army of Pharaoh that had gone after them into the sea. Not even one of them survived.
Exodus 14:29 - But the Israelites had walked through the sea on dry ground, with the waters like a wall to them on their right and their left.
Exodus 14:30 - That day the Lord saved Israel from the power of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the seashore.
Exodus 14:31 - When Israel saw the great power that the Lord used against the Egyptians, the people feared the Lord and believed in him and in his servant Moses.
Exodus 15:14 - When the peoples hear, they will shudder; anguish will seize the inhabitants of Philistia.

Numbers 21:21 - Israel sent messengers to say to King Sihon of the Amorites,
Numbers 21:22 - “Let us travel through your land. We won’t go into the fields or vineyards. We won’t drink any well water. We will travel the King’s Highway until we have traveled through your territory.”
Numbers 21:23 - But Sihon would not let Israel travel through his territory. Instead, he gathered his whole army and went out to confront Israel in the wilderness. When he came to Jahaz, he fought against Israel.
Numbers 21:24 - Israel struck him with the sword and took possession of his land from the Arnon to the Jabbok, but only up to the Ammonite border, because it was fortified.
Numbers 21:25 - Israel took all the cities and lived in all these Amorite cities, including Heshbon and all its surrounding villages.
Numbers 21:26 - Heshbon was the city of King Sihon of the Amorites, who had fought against the former king of Moab and had taken control of all his land as far as the Arnon.
Numbers 21:27 - Therefore the poets say: Come to Heshbon, let it be rebuilt; let the city of Sihon be restored.
Numbers 21:28 - For fire came out of Heshbon, a flame from the city of Sihon. It consumed Ar of Moab, the citizens of Arnon’s heights.
Numbers 21:29 - Woe to you, Moab! You have been destroyed, people of Chemosh! He gave up his sons as refugees, and his daughters into captivity to Sihon the Amorite king.
Numbers 21:30 - We threw them down; Heshbon has been destroyed as far as Dibon. We caused desolation as far as Nophah, which reaches as far as Medeba.
Numbers 21:31 - So Israel lived in the Amorites’ land.
Numbers 21:32 - After Moses sent spies to Jazer, Israel captured its surrounding villages and drove out the Amorites who were there.
Numbers 21:33 - Then they turned and went up the road to Bashan, and King Og of Bashan came out against them with his whole army to do battle at Edrei.
Numbers 21:34 - But the Lord said to Moses, “Do not fear him, for I have handed him over to you along with his whole army and his land. Do to him as you did to King Sihon of the Amorites, who lived in Heshbon.”
Numbers 21:35 - So they struck him, his sons, and his whole army until no one was left, and they took possession of his land.
