Numbers 34:2 - “Command the Israelites and say to them: When you enter the land of Canaan, it will be allotted to you as an inheritance with these borders:
Numbers 34:3 - Your southern side will be from the Wilderness of Zin along the boundary of Edom. Your southern border on the east will begin at the east end of the Dead Sea.
Numbers 34:4 - Your border will turn south of the Scorpions’ Ascent, proceed to Zin, and end south of Kadesh-barnea. It will go to Hazar-addar and proceed to Azmon.
Numbers 34:5 - The border will turn from Azmon to the Brook of Egypt, where it will end at the Mediterranean Sea.
Numbers 34:6 - Your western border will be the coastline of the Mediterranean Sea; this will be your western border.
Numbers 34:7 - This will be your northern border: From the Mediterranean Sea draw a line to Mount Hor;
Numbers 34:8 - from Mount Hor draw a line to the entrance of Hamath, and the border will reach Zedad.
Numbers 34:9 - Then the border will go to Ziphron and end at Hazar-enan. This will be your northern border.
Numbers 34:10 - For your eastern border, draw a line from Hazar-enan to Shepham.
Numbers 34:11 - The border will go down from Shepham to Riblah east of Ain. It will continue down and reach the eastern slope of the Sea of Chinnereth.
Numbers 34:12 - Then the border will go down to the Jordan and end at the Dead Sea. This will be your land defined by its borders on all sides.”
Numbers 34:13 - So Moses commanded the Israelites, “This is the land you are to receive by lot as an inheritance, which the Lord commanded to be given to the nine and a half tribes.

Joshua 14:5 - So the Israelites did as the Lord commanded Moses, and they divided the land.
Joshua 14:6 - The descendants of Judah approached Joshua at Gilgal, and Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said to him, “You know what the Lord promised Moses the man of God at Kadesh-barnea about you and me.
Joshua 14:7 - I was forty years old when Moses the Lord’s servant sent me from Kadesh-barnea to scout the land, and I brought back an honest report.
Joshua 14:8 - My brothers who went with me caused the people to lose heart, but I followed the Lord my God completely.
Joshua 14:9 - On that day Moses swore to me, ‘The land where you have set foot will be an inheritance for you and your descendants forever, because you have followed the Lord my God completely.’
Joshua 14:10 - “As you see, the Lord has kept me alive these forty-five years as he promised, since the Lord spoke this word to Moses while Israel was journeying in the wilderness. Here I am today, eighty-five years old.
Joshua 14:11 - I am still as strong today as I was the day Moses sent me out. My strength for battle and for daily tasks is now as it was then.
Joshua 14:12 - Now give me this hill country the Lord promised me on that day, because you heard then that the Anakim are there, as well as large fortified cities. Perhaps the Lord will be with me and I will drive them out as the Lord promised.”
Joshua 14:13 - Then Joshua blessed Caleb son of Jephunneh and gave him Hebron as an inheritance.
Joshua 14:14 - Therefore, Hebron still belongs to Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite as an inheritance today because he followed the Lord, the God of Israel, completely.
Joshua 14:15 - Hebron’s name used to be Kiriath-arba; Arba was the greatest man among the Anakim. After this, the land had rest from war.
Exodus 23:27 - “I will cause the people ahead of you to feel terror and will throw into confusion all the nations you come to. I will make all your enemies turn their backs to you in retreat.
Exodus 23:28 - I will send hornets in front of you, and they will drive the Hivites, Canaanites, and Hethites away from you.
Exodus 23:29 - I will not drive them out ahead of you in a single year; otherwise, the land would become desolate, and wild animals would multiply against you.
Exodus 23:30 - I will drive them out little by little ahead of you until you have become numerous and take possession of the land.
Exodus 23:31 - I will set your borders from the Red Sea to the Mediterranean Sea, and from the wilderness to the Euphrates River. For I will place the inhabitants of the land under your control, and you will drive them out ahead of you.
Numbers 26:52 - The Lord spoke to Moses,
Numbers 26:53 - “The land is to be divided among them as an inheritance based on the number of names.
Numbers 26:54 - Increase the inheritance for a large tribe and decrease it for a small one. Each is to be given its inheritance according to those who were registered in it.
Numbers 26:55 - The land is to be divided by lot; they will receive an inheritance according to the names of their ancestral tribes.
Joshua 21:44 - The Lord gave them rest on every side according to all he had sworn to their ancestors. None of their enemies were able to stand against them, for the Lord handed over all their enemies to them.
Joshua 21:45 - None of the good promises the Lord had made to the house of Israel failed. Everything was fulfilled.
