  • Revelation 16:8 - And the fourth angel poured out his bowl upon the sun, and it was given power to scorch people with fire.
  • Revelation 16:9 - And the people were scorched with fierce heat; and they blasphemed the name of God who has the power over these plagues, and they did not repent so as to give Him glory.
  • Revelation 16:10 - And the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became darkened; and they gnawed their tongues because of pain,
  • Revelation 16:11 - and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pain and their sores; and they did not repent of their deeds.
  • Revelation 16:12 - The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river, the Euphrates; and its water was dried up, so that the way would be prepared for the kings from the east.
  • Revelation 16:13 - And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs;
  • Revelation 16:14 - for they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the entire world, to gather them together for the war of the great day of God, the Almighty.
  • Revelation 16:15 - (“Behold, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who stays awake and keeps his clothes, so that he will not walk about naked and people will not see his shame.”)
  • Revelation 16:16 - And they gathered them together to the place which in Hebrew is called Har-Magedon.
  • Revelation 16:17 - Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl upon the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple from the throne, saying, “It is done.”
  • Revelation 16:18 - And there were flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder; and there was a great earthquake, such as there had not been since mankind came to be upon the earth, so great an earthquake was it, and so mighty.
  • Revelation 16:19 - The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. Babylon the great was remembered in the sight of God, to give her the cup of the wine of His fierce wrath.
  • Revelation 16:20 - And every island fled, and no mountains were found.
  • Revelation 16:21 - And huge hailstones, weighing about a talent each, *came down from heaven upon people; and people blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, because the hailstone plague *was extremely severe.
  • 2 Kings 25:4 - Then the city was broken into, and all the men of war fled by night by way of the gate between the two walls that were beside the king’s garden, though the Chaldeans were all around the city. And they went by way of the Arabah.
  • 2 Kings 25:5 - But the army of the Chaldeans pursued the king and overtook him in the plains of Jericho, and all his army was scattered from him.
  • 2 Kings 25:6 - Then they captured the king and brought him up to the king of Babylon at Riblah, and he passed sentence on him.

  • Daniel 9:27 - And he will confirm a covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of abominations will come the one who makes desolate, until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, gushes forth on the one who makes desolate.”

  • 2 Chronicles 36:19 - Then they burned the house of God and broke down the wall of Jerusalem, and burned all its fortified buildings with fire and destroyed all its valuable articles.
  • Jeremiah 22:27 - But as for the land to which they long to return, they will not return to it.

  • Jeremiah 39:1 - Now when Jerusalem was captured in the ninth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the tenth month, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and all his army came to Jerusalem and laid siege to it;
  • Jeremiah 39:2 - in the eleventh year of Zedekiah, in the fourth month, in the ninth day of the month, the city wall was breached.
  • Jeremiah 39:3 - Then all the officials of the king of Babylon came in and sat down at the Middle Gate: Nergal-sar-ezer, Samgar-nebu, Sar-sekim the Rab-saris, Nergal-sar-ezer the Rab-mag, and all the rest of the officials of the king of Babylon.
  • Jeremiah 39:4 - And when Zedekiah the king of Judah and all the men of war saw them, they fled and left the city at night by way of the king’s garden through the gate between the two walls; and he went out toward the Arabah.
  • Jeremiah 39:5 - But the army of the Chaldeans pursued them and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho; and they took him and brought him up to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon at Riblah in the land of Hamath, and he passed sentence on him.
  • Jeremiah 39:6 - Then the king of Babylon slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes at Riblah; the king of Babylon also slaughtered all the nobles of Judah.
  • Jeremiah 39:7 - He then blinded Zedekiah’s eyes and bound him in shackles of bronze to bring him to Babylon.
  • Jeremiah 39:8 - The Chaldeans also burned the king’s palace and the houses of the people with fire, and they tore down the walls of Jerusalem.
  • Jeremiah 39:9 - And as for the rest of the people who were left in the city, the deserters who had deserted to him and the rest of the people who remained, Nebuzaradan the captain of the bodyguard took them into exile in Babylon.
  • Jeremiah 7:20 - Therefore this is what the Lord God says: “Behold, My anger and My wrath will be poured out on this place, on human and animal life, and on the trees of the field and the fruit of the ground; and it will burn and not be quenched.”
