He also controls how things turn out.
  • Psalm 33:16 - A king isn’t saved just because his army is big. A soldier doesn’t escape just because he is very strong.
  • Amos 2:14 - Your fastest runners will not escape. The strongest people will not get away. Even soldiers will not be able to save their own lives.
