  • Isaiah 3:23 - garments, linen clothes, turbans, and shawls.
  • Isaiah 3:24 - Instead of perfume there will be a stench; instead of a belt, a rope; instead of beautifully styled hair, baldness; instead of fine clothes, sackcloth; instead of beauty, branding.
  • Isaiah 3:25 - Your men will fall by the sword, your warriors in battle.

  • Ezekiel 22:22 - As silver is melted inside a furnace, so you will be melted inside the city. Then you will know that I, the Lord, have poured out my wrath on you.”
  • Malachi 3:2 - But who can endure the day of his coming? And who will be able to stand when he appears? For he will be like a refiner’s fire and like launderer’s bleach.
  • Malachi 3:3 - He will be like a refiner and purifier of silver; he will purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and silver. Then they will present offerings to the Lord in righteousness.
