  • Romans 1:27 - And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved.
  • Romans 1:28 - Since they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be done.
  • Romans 1:29 - Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip.
  • Romans 1:30 - They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They invent new ways of sinning, and they disobey their parents.
  • Romans 1:31 - They refuse to understand, break their promises, are heartless, and have no mercy.
  • Romans 1:32 - They know God’s justice requires that those who do these things deserve to die, yet they do them anyway. Worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too.
  • Psalms 106:29 - They angered the Lord with all these things, so a plague broke out among them.
  • Psalms 99:8 - O Lord our God, you answered them. You were a forgiving God to them, but you punished them when they went wrong.
  • Genesis 5:1 - This is the written account of the descendants of Adam. When God created human beings, he made them to be like himself.
  • Mark 7:8 - For you ignore God’s law and substitute your own tradition.”
  • Mark 7:9 - Then he said, “You skillfully sidestep God’s law in order to hold on to your own tradition.
  • Genesis 1:26 - Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.”
  • Genesis 1:27 - So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
  • Genesis 3:6 - The woman was convinced. She saw that the tree was beautiful and its fruit looked delicious, and she wanted the wisdom it would give her. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. Then she gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it, too.
