  • Haggai 1:9 - You hoped for rich harvests, but they were poor. And when you brought your harvest home, I blew it away. Why? Because my house lies in ruins, says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, while all of you are busy building your own fine houses.
  • Haggai 1:10 - It’s because of you that the heavens withhold the dew and the earth produces no crops.
  • Haggai 1:11 - I have called for a drought on your fields and hills—a drought to wither the grain and grapes and olive trees and all your other crops, a drought to starve you and your livestock and to ruin everything you have worked so hard to get.”
  • Hebrews 1:14 - Therefore, angels are only servants—spirits sent to care for people who will inherit salvation.

  • Acts of the Apostles 7:34 - I have certainly seen the oppression of my people in Egypt. I have heard their groans and have come down to rescue them. Now go, for I am sending you back to Egypt.’
  • Acts of the Apostles 7:35 - “So God sent back the same man his people had previously rejected when they demanded, ‘Who made you a ruler and judge over us?’ Through the angel who appeared to him in the burning bush, God sent Moses to be their ruler and savior.
  • James 3:2 - Indeed, we all make many mistakes. For if we could control our tongues, we would be perfect and could also control ourselves in every other way.
  • Leviticus 5:4 - “Or suppose you make a foolish vow of any kind, whether its purpose is for good or for bad. When you realize its foolishness, you must admit your guilt.
  • Leviticus 5:5 - “When you become aware of your guilt in any of these ways, you must confess your sin.
  • Leviticus 5:6 - Then you must bring to the Lord as the penalty for your sin a female from the flock, either a sheep or a goat. This is a sin offering with which the priest will purify you from your sin, making you right with the Lord.
  • Ecclesiastes 5:1 - As you enter the house of God, keep your ears open and your mouth shut. It is evil to make mindless offerings to God.
  • Ecclesiastes 5:2 - Don’t make rash promises, and don’t be hasty in bringing matters before God. After all, God is in heaven, and you are here on earth. So let your words be few.
  • Numbers 15:25 - With it the priest will purify the whole community of Israel, making them right with the Lord, and they will be forgiven. For it was an unintentional sin, and they have corrected it with their offerings to the Lord—the special gift and the sin offering.
  • Genesis 48:16 - the Angel who has redeemed me from all harm— may he bless these boys. May they preserve my name and the names of Abraham and Isaac. And may their descendants multiply greatly throughout the earth.”
  • Malachi 2:7 - “The words of a priest’s lips should preserve knowledge of God, and people should go to him for instruction, for the priest is the messenger of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.
  • James 1:26 - If you claim to be religious but don’t control your tongue, you are fooling yourself, and your religion is worthless.
