Ephesians 5:22 - Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as [a service] to the Lord.
Ephesians 5:23 - For the husband is head of the wife, as Christ is head of the church, Himself being the Savior of the body.
Ephesians 5:24 - But as the church is subject to Christ, so also wives should be subject to their husbands in everything [respecting both their position as protector and their responsibility to God as head of the house].

Titus 2:5 - to be sensible, pure, makers of a home [where God is honored], good-natured, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored.
Titus 2:6 - In a similar way urge the young men to be sensible and self-controlled and to behave wisely [taking life seriously].
Genesis 3:16 - To the woman He said, “I will greatly multiply Your pain in childbirth; In pain you will give birth to children; Yet your desire and longing will be for your husband, And he will rule [with authority] over you and be responsible for you.”
1 Corinthians 11:3 - But I want you to understand that Christ is the head (authority over) of every man, and man is the head of woman, and God is the head of Christ.
1 Corinthians 7:16 - For how do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband [by leading him to Christ]? Or how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife [by leading her to Christ]?
