praise the name of the Lord!

from this time forth and forevermore!

who is seated on high,

on the heavens and the earth?

7He 113:7 [Ps. 136:23]; See Ps. 107:41raises the poor from the dust

and lifts the needy from the ash heap,

8to make them 113:8 [Job 36:7]sit with princes,

with the princes of his people.

9He 113:9 Ps. 68:6; 1 Sam. 2:5; [Ex. 1:21; Isa. 54:1] gives the barren woman a home,

making her the joyous mother of children.
