Daniel 第12章
The Time of the End
1“At that time shall arise 12:1 See ch. 10:13Michael, the great prince who has charge of your people. And 12:1 Jer. 30:7; Matt. 24:21; Mark 13:19; [Rev. 16:18] there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time. But at that time your people shall be delivered, 12:1 Ex. 32:32, 33; [Ezek. 13:9; Luke 10:20; Rev. 20:12]everyone whose name shall be found written in the book.
2And many of those who 12:2 [Ps. 17:15; John 11:11] sleep in 12:2 [Isa. 26:19]; See Ezek. 37:1-10the dust of the earth shall 12:2 [Isa. 26:19]; See Ezek. 37:1-10awake, 12:2 Matt. 25:46; John 5:28, 29; Acts 24:15; Rev. 20:12, 13some to everlasting life, and 12:2 Matt. 25:46; John 5:28, 29; Acts 24:15; Rev. 20:12, 13some to shame and everlasting contempt.
312:3 ch. 11:33And those who are wise 12:3 Matt. 13:43shall shine like the brightness of the sky above;12:3 Hebrew the expanse; compare Genesis 1:6–8 and 12:3 [Mal. 2:6]those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever.
5Then I, Daniel, looked, and behold, two others stood, one on 12:5 [ch. 10:4]this bank of the stream and one on that bank of the stream.
6And someone said to 12:6 ch. 10:5; Ezek. 9:2the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream,12:6 Or who was upstream; also verse 712:6 ch. 8:13“How long shall it be till the end of these wonders?”
7And I heard 12:7 [See ver. 6above] the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the stream; 12:7 See Gen. 14:22he raised his right hand and his left hand toward heaven and 12:7 [Rev. 10:6] swore by him who lives forever that it would be for a 12:7 ch. 7:25time, times, and half a time, and that when the shattering of 12:7 [ch. 8:24]the power of 12:7 [ch. 8:24]the holy people comes to an end all these things would be finished.
8I heard, 12:8 [ch. 8:15]but I did not understand. Then I said, “O my lord, what shall be the outcome of these things?”
9He said, 12:9 ver. 13“Go your way, Daniel, 12:9 [ver. 4]for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end.
1012:10 [ch. 11:35] Many shall purify themselves and make themselves white and be refined, but 12:10 [Rev. 9:20; 22:11] the wicked shall act wickedly. And none of the wicked shall understand, 12:10 [See ver. 3above]but those who are wise shall understand.
11And from the time that 12:11 ch. 11:31the regular burnt offering is taken away and 12:11 See ch. 11:31the abomination that makes desolate is set up, there shall be 1,290 days.
1212:12 [Matt. 10:22]Blessed is he who waits and arrives at the 1,335 days.
1312:13 ver. 9But go your way till the end. 12:13 Isa. 57:2; [Rev. 6:11] And you shall rest and shall stand in your allotted place at 12:13 [Matt. 13:39]the end of the days.”
