1How lovely is Your dwelling place,

2I long and yearn
for the courts of the Lord;

3Even a sparrow finds a home,
and a swallow, a nest for herself
where she places her young —
near Your altars, Lord of Hosts,
my King and my God. Ps 5:2; 43:4
4How happy are those who reside in Your house,
who praise You continually. Ps 65:4Selah
5Happy are the people whose strength is in You,
whose hearts are set on pilgrimage. Ps 119:2; 122:1
6As they pass through the Valley of Baca, Or Valley of Tears
they make it a source of springwater;
even the autumn rain will cover it with blessings. Or pools Ezk 34:26; Jl 2:23
7They go from strength to strength;

8Lord God of Hosts, hear my prayer;

10Better a day in Your courts
than a thousand anywhere else.
