the Lord will save him in a day of adversity. Ps 82:3-4; Pr 14:21
2The Lord will keep him and preserve him;
he will be blessed in the land. Ps 37:22,28
You will not give him over to the desire of his enemies. Ps 27:12
3The Lord will sustain him on his sickbed;
You will heal him on the bed where he lies. Jr 17:14
4I said, “Lord, be gracious to me;
heal me, for I have sinned against You.” Ps 6:2; 51:4
5My enemies speak maliciously about me:
“When will he die and be forgotten? ” Ps 38:12
6When one of them comes to visit, he speaks deceitfully;
he stores up evil in his heart;
he goes out and talks. Ps 12:2; 62:4; Pr 26:24-26
7All who hate me whisper together about me;
they plan to harm me. Ps 56:5
8“Lethal poison has been poured into him,
and he won’t rise again from where he lies! ” Ps 71:10-11
9Even my friend Lit Even a man of my peace in whom I trusted,
one who ate my bread,
has raised his heel against me. Jb 19:19; Ps 55:12-13; Jn 13:18
10But You, Lord, be gracious to me and raise me up;
then I will repay them. Ps 9:13
11By this I know that You delight in me: Ps 37:23
my enemy does not shout in triumph over me. Ps 25:2
12You supported me because of my integrity Ps 37:17
and set me in Your presence forever. Ps 21:6
13May Yahweh, the God of Israel, be praised
from everlasting to everlasting.
Amen and amen. Ps 72:18-19; 89:52
