The King of Glory
A Davidic psalm.
1The earth and everything in it,
the world and its inhabitants,
belong to the Lord; Dt 10:14; Ps 89:11; 1Co 10:26
2for He laid its foundation on the seas
and established it on the rivers. Ps 104:5; Pr 8:29
3Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord?
Who may stand in His holy place? Ps 15:1
4The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, Jb 22:30; Ps 73:1; Mt 5:8
who has not set his mind Or not lifted up his soul on what is false, Ps 31:6; 119:37
and who has not sworn deceitfully.
5He will receive blessing from the Lord, Ps 115:13
and righteousness from the God of his salvation. Ps 65:5
6Such is the generation of those who seek Him,

7Lift up your heads, you gates!
Rise up, ancient doors!
