Happy is the man who fears the Lord,

2His descendants will be powerful in the land;
the generation of the upright will be blessed. Ps 102:28
3Wealth and riches are in his house, Pr 3:16; 8:18
and his righteousness endures forever. Ps 111:3
4Light shines in the darkness for the upright. Ps 97:11
He is gracious, compassionate, and righteous. Ex 34:6; Neh 9:17; Ps 116:5
5Good will come to a man who lends generously
and conducts his business fairly. Ps 15:5; 37:26
6He will never be shaken. Ps 55:22
The righteous man will be remembered forever. Pr 10:7
7He will not fear bad news;
his heart is confident, trusting in the Lord. Ps 56:4; 57:7; Pr 1:33
8His heart is assured; he will not fear. Ps 27:1; 56:11
In the end he will look in triumph on his foes. Ps 54:7; 59:10
9He distributes freely to the poor;
his righteousness endures forever. 2Co 9:9

10The wicked man will see it and be angry;
