Refuge in the Lord

1I have taken refuge in the Lord. Ps 7:1; 31:1; 71:1
How can you say to me,
“Escape to the mountain like a bird! Lit to your mountain, bird Ps 121:1
2For look, the wicked string the bow;

3When the foundations are destroyed,
what can the righteous do? ” Ps 82:5
4The Lord is in His holy temple; Ps 27:4; Hab 2:20
the Lord’s throne is in heaven. Ps 103:19; Is 66:1; Ac 7:49
His eyes watch; He examines Lit His eyelids examine everyone.
5The Lord examines the righteous and the wicked.
He hates the lover of violence. Ps 33:13-15
6He will rain burning coals Sym; MT reads rain snares, fire and sulfur on the wicked;
a scorching wind will be their portion. Lit be the portion of their cup Ezk 38:22
7For the Lord is righteous; He loves righteous deeds.
The upright will see His face. Ps 17:15; Rv 22:4
